    I phoned them from a hotel and booked a car end of December. He said it's fine, all booked. They never turned up! 10 minutes later as I was phoning them, a car turned up for someone else going to the station, so I asked the person if I could share and they didn't mind. It would've been horrific had I missed the coach. Awful people.

    The taxi was easy to book and was quick to arrive but hard to identify. The driver didn't have the booking number and I didn't have his registration number and as he had more than one taxi firm sticker on his vehicle, I was confused. I was a woman, late at night, travelling alone in an area I didn't know. I kept a family member on the phone until I got home. The driver was friendly and very knowledgeable of the area. The only issue I had was is initially identifying each other. Which is important.

    Honestly amazing service. I have lived in Coventry for year and I can honestly say that lewis taxis are one of the best service in Coventry. The taxi driver Dan was very helpful and positive. He really went the extra mile when needing assistance I couldn't have for a better driver or service. When speaking on the phone the person was very clear and helpful would 100% recommend these taxi services for short or even long journeys.

    I had a quick response on booking a journey with a disabled passenger in a wheelchair. There was a similarly quick response when I had to rearrange it. Our driver was waiting at the pick-up and return times and was properly careful with helping get the wheelchair and passenger into the vehicle and securing it. He drove carefully and was cheerful and respectful. I recommend this company.

    Knocked on @ tariff 4, thought I wouldn't notice, then denied point blank any wrong doing!! Phoned Lewis taxis who didn't respond positively whatsoever. Complaint going into nuneaton & Bosworth licensing authority. I expect much better from lewis taxis

    Booked taxi online in the morning for a pick up after work to take me back to Coventry station. The taxi was late, causing me to miss my train back to London, and a very important meeting Every time I phoned the operator promised it would be only 5 mins more. Driver was only assigned 15 mins after time of my booking (according to an email) so seems as if they’d forgotten to assign someone in the first instance. Once I had the number of the driver I phoned them, and was again promised 5 mins but to no avail. Driver then stopped answering my calls. Called operator to cancel 30 mins after my booking was scheduled for, completely unapologetic. Ordered an Uber which turned up in 2 minutes - moral of the story use Uber!

    Despite traffic problems our journey went very smoothly, thanks to our friendly and very competent driver. Have used Lewis Taxis previously for long distance journeys and would thoroughly recommend them.

    we normally use lewis taxis and they're alright, but this by far was the worst treatment we have ever had. i called for a taxi to our house around 4:09. we had doctors appointments at 4:15. usually it takes 5 mins for them to get here so thats why we called only 6 mins before. they said they would take 10 mins but we were alright with it. it was 4:21 when we called again and a woman answered saying it was gonna take 2 or 3 mins and she lied. then we got a message 3 or 4 minutes later saying it was dispatched. it had been 15 minutes and still no sign. then 20 minutes and we got a call from the doctors saying why we were not coming we explained the situation and now we have to rebook it when we waited ages for it. after that we called and obviously were angry about the situation and a man answered and after I said what happened he hung up on me. then he called saying the taxi was there now it had been 30 minutes . obviously we didn't need it anymore so then the man shouted at us and said its not his fault bevause there was alot of traffic and then i told them they could have gave us a message but again he hung up on me. he talked in such a disgusting tone and we are never using this taxi company again.

    Absolutely fantastic service. My mother in law is wheelchair bound and when I asked for a suitable vehicle to transport her, a purpose built Mercedes Vito came within 20 minutes. The driver was very professional, courteous and very careful when assisting my relative.

    Lewis Taxis is doing very well and always on time. Used Lewis taxis to the airport and driver came exactly time booked. Coming back from holiday, Lewis taxis also arrived a few minutes before we came out of the airport so it was just straight in the taxi home with no waiting. I would recommend Lewis taxis to family and friends
