   Booked in advance for collection from airport. Lovely driver and lovely car! All we had to provide was our flight number when booking, you pay on drop off (cash or card). We texted to book, we were then kept informed via text - we were asked to let them know when we had collected our baggage and then received a call to explain where they were parked. Smooth drive, on time and would use again.

   Prebooked Clarkes Taxi and confirmed all details by text a week before. When we chased them up after waiting 20 mins to get an eta on the night we had a text back to say he had booked it for the wrong day and had nothing available. An evening spoilt because my partner had to drive, pick up our friends, and stick to soft drinks all evening. Not used Clarkes before and we’re left unimpressed.

   Avoid at all cost we booked this guy weeks in advance for a 6am pick airport run. He failed to so up and would not answer phone. We have 3 children really excited for a holiday to USA we nearly missed because of this guy. No phone call, nothing to say really sorry I will have to cancel..just don't show up..very unprofessional. We were lucky to find a decent reliable taxi driver to rescue us and get us there on time...DO NOT USE FOR ANY AIRPORT RUNS IF YOU WANT TO GUARANTEE GETTING THERE. DISCUSTING. WILL BE SPEAKING TO LICNECING AUTHORITY TOO! Just looking at other reviews..it seems they specialise in not turning up...can not stress enough. Do not rely on these guys for airport runs..maybe be fit for purpose for pick up from your local supermarket but that's it. What are you in about same soammer..would you like me to attached the email trail organising our airport transfer to Gatwick to jog your memory...you confirmed the transfer twice. You seem accuse the bad rating as being spammers..not the case at all. Just a family you let down by not turning up for an agreed airport transfer! Stephen Mountjoy that my wife dealt with via email. Didn't seem to want to email to say he wouldn't be turning up though so we could organise a company that would.. as for the number being wrong..both myself and wife were calling you from 6am until 620am to try and find out if you were on your way..no answer. Left voicemail with you..no reply..if your memory is really that bad then maybe taxi driving isn't for you! As for reimbursement...we never paid you as you failed to turn up! The last email Steve sent read.. Hi, sorry for delay in replying. With regard to the deposit I'll just collect ot on the day of departure. Your airport transfer is all booked in there's nothing at all to worry about regards Steve. The previous email says "Hi Amy, my names Steve, I'm the owner of Clarkes private hire. So pretty sure you heard of us. Maybe start apologising to people for letting them and their families down and explain why you nearly turned their holoday into a disaster instead of denying knowing them. Like I say, I can post the email trail if that's better.

   We used Clarkes for our transfer from Birmingham to Gatwick Airport. The service was brilliant. Our driver, Gary, was bang on time & his driving excellent. He advised us of the return pick up procedure. He would track flight for delays so no worries there & we phoned him once we had cleared customs & he arrived 10 minutes later. Will use again if required & would definately recommend. Thank you Clarkes.

   Airport transfers - Gary & Steve provided brilliant service. Gary arrived early to take us to the airport and got us there in plenty of time, despite the traffic. He was waiting for us in arrivals for our return journey and got us home safe & sound after a long flight. Cars lovely, and conversation a pleasure! Really grateful for such professional, courteous and reliable service - we'll definitely be booking again for all future trips.

   Very professional and reliable company. They provided me a fair price and arrived early to take my family and I to the airport in London. They brought the right size vehicle for all our luggage, and car seats for the children. Very polite, professional, and helpful with loading and offloading all the suitcases. 100 percent recommend for price and quality of service!
