Bingley Counselling and Psychotherapy is a fantastic practice for anyone wanting assistance with any ongoing or situational anxieties or stresses. The setting is calming and therapeutic. The location is easy to get and in a pleasant area. The building is dual-use, so it’s great for anyone that’s a little nervous about first attending. Booking is easy and you’ll be given guidance as to how to park, pay or re-book; nothing seems too much trouble. The sessions are paced extremely intuitively there’s no pressure at all from the therapist. Everything is really well explained using a combination of talking, diagrams and props, suiting lots of learning styles. The therapy is a great investment for anyone wanting to move or grow beyond a particular pattern,or simple ‘check-in’ to help stay on track.

Shalini is such a warm and compassionate therapist, who has supported me so much along my healing journey. You can tell that she genuinely cares about the work she does, and always puts me at ease no matter what I bring to each session. She's both gentle yet firm when needed, and offers suggestions and practical, somatic exercises which make therapy so much more than just sitting talking to someone in a chair for one hour. I'd thoroughly recommend Shalini to anyone that's looking for a new therapist, or to begin therapy for the first time. I'd been through so many therapists before finding Shalini, and feel like she's the best fit I've ever found.

Helped me through a very distressing time in my life and was amazing at giving me the resources I needed to live my life and heal. I met Shalini when I was struggling with severe anxiety and depression. Definitely recommend.

Shalini is a fantastic therapist. I started seeing her to address many past traumas, anxiety and other emotional difficulties. She is professional and equally friendly, offering a safe and inclusive space. Shalini has played a pivotal role in my recovery from burnout and my life has changed for the better as a result of the support and help I've received from her. I highly recommend Shalini's services.

  2. Isabella Tait ★★★★★

I highly recommend Shalini for anyone seeking help with their mental health. Throughout my sessions I felt safe about exploring issues and always heard. I have struggled with depression and self-esteem since before COVID and without her help I would not have felt confident to move away from home and start university.

I first met Shalini through a friend when I attended one of her fabulous yoga retreats. There was an instant connection, she was warm, understanding and had an air of peace and calm. In the following months I met with her as she helped me worked through trauma that impacted how I was living my life. She helped me to move forward, reframe my thinking and provided practical support for when things inevitably get hard.
