   We booked a return transfer to Birmingham Airport for 6 adults and a toddler. Golden Line were the only taxi company who offered a child seat, all the others said we had to provide our own. The online booking was very simple, straightforward and reasonable, I could also book with several drop offs. Ali was punctual, polite and a very cautious driver. Will definitely use Golden Line taxis again, 100% recommend, thank you

   DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We booked a taxi to and from Heathrow through Golden Line Taxis a couple of months before our holiday. We paid extra for an executive taxi as we were travelling with 6 bags and a baby. One of us had to sit on a fold down seat, facing backwards, for the 2 hour drive to the airport. We had been advised upon booking that we could leave our baby car seat in the taxi and they would keep it and bring for the collection we had booked. When we landed at Heathrow after a long flight, the taxi that arrived was a shambles, filled with litter in the front. Worst of all, they hadn’t brought our car seat. The man produced a booster seat suitable for a much older child. It would be illegal and dangerous for our 11 month old to have travelled in this. When we told the man this, he had no alternative suggestions and left us at Heathrow. We were abandoned in London and the trains were on strike. We had no choice but to call the company back. After several shouting matches with a rude man who told us to “shut up” and demanded more money - the company finally sent the original car with our car seat. 6 hours later, exhausted , cold and angry. We have yet to receive a full refund for the round trip. Please beware of booking this company.

   Booked an executive car for my wedding night (with Golden Line Taxis- Warwick) for midnight. Car never turned up without any explanation from the company! We had to lift share with the last 2 remaining wedding guests who were nowhere near our hotel. 2 hours after the car was due to turn up, my phone rang 5 times at 2:30am (waking us up)- advising us that the taxi had arrived! Over 2 hours later! An absolutely shambolic service for what was such an important and special occasion. Stay well clear of this joke of a company. Unreliable and disorganised.

   I have used Golden Line taxis for the last six months to get to work and back, due to transportation issues. Ali has been fantastic throughout, and has really helped me out during this time. Ali's drivers are almost always right on time, which is an amazing track record considering I've been using them for six months solid! The very few times that one of his drivers has been held up by traffic Ali has always called ahead to let me know what's going on. Would recommend, 100%!

   Although we got where we needed to go, this was far from a smooth experience. We flew in from overseas and needed a taxi to our ultimate destination. The driver was not there upon our arrival. When we called, we were told that he was waiting for us to call and would be there in 10 minutes. It was never communicated to us that we needed to call upon arrival. It took at least 40 min to finally meet up with the driver. They also didn’t communicate that the rate would be higher than quoted if you paid by credit card. All worked out fine in the end but I’d have a hard time recommending this company.
