   Heidi Morse was our solicitor and she was absolutely amazing in helping us buy our first home. From the very beginning, she made the entire process feel manageable and less overwhelming. She took the time to talk us through each step, explained everything clearly, and was always quick to answer any questions we had. The communication was excellent, and we always felt supported and well-informed throughout the process. Isobella was also fantastic and did a great job of keeping us updated and making sure nothing was missed. She is very approachable and always willing to help, which made the whole process feel much smoother and more reassuring. Together, Heidi and Isobella completely took the stress out of buying our first home and made it a positive experience. Will definitely be using Hek Jones again in the future, thank you so much!!

   Giving one star as ZERO isn’t an option. If you’re in no rush to complete then these will be the perfect solicitors for you. The sheer amount of time to get anything done is absolutely baffling. Not to mention to complete lack of response on the phone and also email (to the point Hek Jones hung up on my solicitor multiple times).

   I can’t recommend Jason highly enough. We completed on our new home on 15th December after our offer was accepted on 3rd October, which in itself is a great turnaround. However, due to our lender not working with the first firm we were allocated, we weren’t actually picked up by Hek Jones until the week commencing 20th October. That means Jason got us through the entire process in just 8 weeks, in a chain of three, and still managed to get us completed before Christmas. From start to finish Jason was fantastic. He stayed in regular contact, always answered the phone, and when there were delays with the seller’s solicitors he was completely open and honest about what was happening. We always knew where we stood, which made a potentially stressful process so much easier. Jason was proactive, approachable, and clearly very experienced. Getting us in before Christmas was hugely important to us and we’re so grateful for all his hard work. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone buying or selling a home.    How should I begin this review? Maybe by mentioning the great service... Or maybe the excellent communication I had with my Solicitor Emma Selfridge. Choosing Emma from Hek Jones was one of the best decisions I made when purchasing my first home! I am grateful for the weekly updates I received explaining where I was in the process with a swift email or phone call, which helped calm the first-time buying nerves. Emma ensured that the process was easily understood and seeing the progress moving along smoothly was reassuring. Just 2 days before Christmas, I received a call from Emma that her team had completed the purchase of the property and that I could collect the keys by the end of the day. I have now gone into the New Year a property owner and look forward to this new start. Thank you, Emma & Hek Jones, you will be the first I think of when recommending to others. Happy New Year!

   After 4 months of my flat selling on day 1 the buyer has pulled out. I will probably never know if the reason was ill health or if the solicitors were too slow, but when you are told by the estate agent the buyer is 2 weeks from completing and this will be a straight forward quick legal turn around it has definitely not been. Communication has not been great from day 1 today I have dispensed with HEK Jones services and will not be using them again. I found unless I asked for updates I received little or no communication and the solicitor I was recommended never emailed or called me once. I can't help but feel disappointed with the estate agent and solicitors. For me this has not been a good experience.

   Hek jones didn’t represent myself but they represented a buyer for my house. They were slow to respond in all instances, acted against their clients best interests which delayed the process further and it ended up ongoing for 8 months up until it eventually fell through. Their own client even proved them wrong on certain legal matters so I wouldn’t trust them to represent myself. Because of them slow timing and not having a clue what they were doing, our house fell through and I had solicitors fees to buy out right before Christmas with two young kids. If they’d have been quicker and more efficient, everything would have progressed nicely. I can’t put in a complaint formally as I was not their client but I’m extremely glad I wasn’t. My own solicitors said they were a nightmare to deal with and they hadn’t dealt with solicitors so difficult in all their careers. The estate agents said the same. 100% do not recommend.

   We will definitely use Hek Jones again. Emma Selfridge and her legal assistant Fraser we’re absolutely fantastic! We had a nightmare sale & purchase which they helped us with at every step. Their communication was great and consistent throughout. The speed at which they actioned any issues we came across was brilliant.
