I’ve been trying to book a number of taxis for an even this evening (20/08) for a week now. I called one day and was told by the lady on the switch to call after 6pm any evening to speak to the night manager who needed to arrange the booking. Every evening (4 nights in total) I’ve been calling a number of times but no answer. Just tried again now (10am Saturday) and still no answer. Not a great way to run a cab form if no one answers. I’m not being impatient either I’m letting it ring for 3-4 mins each time, numerous times.

I don't blame the drivers here, usually they have been really nice enough but I've had so many problems with this company I won't use them again. When calling for a taxi the male operative (who drivers say is either the manager or the managers nephew depending who I spoke to) has been so rude in the past. He put down the phone on me mid call because he could hear my baby crying in the background and didn't like the sound (not down the microphone I add). Repeatedly been told a car was on its way only to wait a really long time. Being sent a car to take me to the VET which I clearly stated was going to the vet and the driver refusing to carry my pet, Today I had to use them as it was the only number I could find, I called for a taxi to a hotel and was told 10 minutes by a female operator, I said OK. and as it was not long went to the foyer and nearing that 10 minute mark stood waiting in view of the taxi area despite being disabled with a very painful condition making the standing uncomfortable. After 20 minutes passed I called back and she said the taxi was on his way and just down the road. A little over 5 minutes later the taxi did arrive - I told the driver that while it wasn't his fault the woman on the phone had said 10 minutes and had she said 25 then I would have waited in the warm sat down and not stood in pain on my crutch in the snow. He called he on the radio and asked her when I made my call as I had been told 10 minutes and I clearly heard her lie to the driver giving him a false time apparently from her call log, then saying in a too high pitch over innocent voice "I told her 20 minutes and she said she was fine to wait". I showed the driver the call log on my phone of the initial call and the second call 20 minutes later. At the end of the day if you taxi is going to take 20 or 30 minutes to arrive you tell your customer - don't lie to them. We have a right to make a choice based on that. I also could have been comfortable during that wait instead. Secondly don't then lie about your customers, customers who can hear you especially! It's disrespectful and gets you bad reviews. The second star is only for the drivers and the occasions this company didn't mess up or be rude in the past.

I've given poor/fair because i can't give any lower, absolutely useless company, always...and i mean ALWAYS late, by at least fifteen minutes. i can't stress how regularly they are late. if you do decide to book a taxi with them, make sure you book it for the previous day and they might stand a chance of getting there in time. AVOID!!!

If you're searching for a taxi company in Rugby and you're reading this, don't even consider these guys. Seriously, they are the most unreliable, unpunctual, and straight up RUDE people you will ever encounter. Two times my girlfriend and I have had to cancel our plans/make new travel arrangements because these guys simply failed to even send us a taxi on time. We were planning on going to the cinema last week to see a film that started at 8.25pm. We booked a taxi from these guys for 8.10pm, and by 8.15 I was on the phone to them asking where our taxi was. The woman told us it was 2 minutes away and hung up. By 8.25, we knew we weren't going to make the start of the film so I called back to cancel the taxi. At which point, the woman became extremely rude and irate with me, and then hang up mid sentence. Very professional. Sadly, this wasn't an isolated incidence. Nearly exactly the same thing happened with these guys at the start of the year, they failed to send the taxi and when we called to enquire about it we get met with the same lady, same rude tone of voice and same awful level of professionalism. If you're reading this lady, learn to talk with a bit more respect towards your customers and maybe don't be surprised when people call you up annoyed because the taxi you promised would be there hasn't arrived. Never will I use these again and I hope that by writing this review, others will see it and steer clear from them too.
