   Terrible experience. So I ordered a package last weekend and was told up to 5 working days. Expecting my package to arrive in time for Christmas. I later checked the tracking and it says estimated delivery date 03.01.23. So I contact DB asking if I can come and collect the package from Nuneaten which is 2 hours away from me, the closest depot from my house. I was told I can, all I have to do is give them my full name and vehicle registration which was provided previously. I was told they shut at 17:45 so I need to arrive before then. I drive two hours up and arrive at 17:00 for the security to tell me they are closed. I send multiple emails to state I am outside the building and security won't let me in to collect the package. I receive nothing back. So now I have wasted 4 hours of my time and petrol. I now have to explain to my mum that the one present I managed to get her this year she will have to wait for until after New year. You should not be treating your customers like this. Ruined my Christmas.

   I have been involved in moving goods from Europe to the UK for over 35 years and have never had a worse experience than I just suffered with D B Schenker. Goods collected in Belgium 26 August arrived at their Nuneaton depot 8 September and cleared customs 13 September. It then took until 11 October for my customer, who is less than six miles form the depot, to receive the delivery. In the end, he went to the depot and collected it himself (on the second attempt). Throughout the process Schenker has been unresponsive and unhelpful, to the extent that they left my customer waiting outside the door for "a couple of minutes" that turned out to be 45 minutes on 8 October. They have never once tried to explain why they couldn't make a delivery of two boxes to an address under six miles away within 28 days. Avoid at all costs.

   My small pallet of goods has been sitting in the warehouse for 12 working days. The tracking says it’s there but no news or communication on delivery. Absolutely devastating for my build which is now majorly running behind and costing me a fortune because of this. Simply not good enough and when I spoke with someone on the phone he laughed because he didn’t know what else to do and told me I was the 100th person he’d spoken to with this issue. Unbelievable

   The company is one of the few in whose protected area you can stay overnight. Advantages: friendly staff, quiet parking, protected area, access to the city, warm toilet. Disadvantages: little room for maneuvering, the possibility of entering the ramps only over the right shoulder (England however!), no shower.

   They will break Your stock and You will not be able to do anything with that as "nobody knows what happened" guys handling pallets on the depot damaged my pallet and just put the stock on another one, even used black wrap to make it look like allways but the condition of the stock clearly shows that the pallet was restacked after falling down while handling. Also they call You and assure when You will get the stock delivered (I received a Phone call on tuesday about next Day delivery) and when the stock is not comming they will tell You that it will come like they said even gave the time. Once You will make arrangements with Your customers to come and pick up the stock You realize it is taking too long for it to arrive so You phone the depot 4th time after being assured it is comming and they say "we are sorry it is not comming today". Madness. Why schenker can call and tell You that something will be done but when it isnt they wont give You a one damn call so that You wont have to wait for their delivery like a moron and than apologize to Your customers for a waste of their time comming to pickup stock that doesnt arrive? Oh and lets not forget when it arrives late it turns out to be damaged. Well done schenker.
