Didn't show up, didn't care, rude on the phone. Missed a wedding because of them. Avoid like the plague. Not the first time they've been poor, as when you're in town late, you've little choice, and have always had poor service from drivers who, at times, looked nothing like the ID badges on display.
Driver in Newport confirmed 6 pounds after I have said I was paying with card he said he couldn't accept card payments and only cash payments. He took me to the cash point just a few metres away from my house gave him 10 pounds in cash and he refused to give me 4 pounds back. If the drivers don't take card payments they need to advise before people get inside the taxi. This was an absolute rip off. Service has always been good until yesterday. Awful experience, women should feel safe getting a taxi and not being taken advantage of.
Will never use this company again I have been a regular customer for years However, booked a taxi for my hospital appointment and because it turned up late they wouldnt see me. The driver was so rude to me so i wont be using these ever again. If they cant get there in time for pre booked fayres dont take on the custom
I had a terrible experience. I booked a taxi, and they didn't arrive on time. Not only that, but they tried to dropped me off at the wrong location. To make matters worse, the price increased, and I was told I had no choice but to pay the higher amount. Awful service from both the driver and the customer support team. I normally love capital taxis. I get a taxi everyday to caerleon school . I always have a good experience with them. The one day I am unwell to take my kids. I pay by card and when my kids got out of the taxi. The taxi driver shouted and screamed at them saying they had to pay I'm so annoyed. I even told him before he drove off I've paid by card So whoever this idiot was who took my kids this morning I'm furious
Cheaper taxi firm but standard is appalling. Book at the office and 20mns later not there - reason, not booked in. Tonight was laughable, booked from bottom of town and was told to walk to top of town as it was easier for driver. I informed receptionist I was single female but told to walk up. Disgraceful, phoned ABC
Booked in advance, came on time, unlike some other companies, cheaper than most as well, drivers could be a bit more cheerful
I always get a good service with Capital Taxis. The automated booking service is so good. Taxis are always clean and on time. I am a Satisfied Customer at the moment.
I will never use capital again after what they done to my daughter and her friend we was told by the office £10 for the taxi and the driver took it on himself to try and get £14out of my daughter and her friend so I will be using b&c cars on Bettws and only £7
Absolutely appalling, when quoted a price multiple times that’s what you expect to pay . To then be greeted by rude customer service aswell as trying to haggle a price with my friend and I , truly disappointed. Wasn’t a 5* customer experience and will be using another taxi firm from now on where I’m guaranteed prices and friendly staff . DO NOT USE
