    Ordeded a taxi not long ago, taxi took an hour to turn up which I had already walked the journey when I am disabled, call handler attitude stunk. I now use Swift taxis! Cheaper and professional :)

    1 star is way too generous. Driver CJ23 OTF hit my parked vehicle, captured on CCTV on 28th November. The driver failed to stop and leave any details and drove off. I have been constantly fobbed off by Castell saying that a manager will call me. This has never been received despite me calling on several occasions to sort this out amicably. The driver eventually called me and admitted he hit my vehicle and said he would be happy to pay for the damage and that he knew someone who could fix it and was very sorry. Days go by and no response from him to find he has deleted his messages and when I chased him up on this he called me being very aggressive, changing his story and saying he had a ‘witness’ saying he didn’t hit my vehicle. What this driver fails to realise is there was NO ONE in his vehicle (as shown on CCTV) he was on his phone (shown on CCTV) and no one was present in the street (shown on CCTV) so his witness is very much a ghost. Despite numerous chasers a manager has failed to contact me to discuss this further. I am extremely disgusted in both management of Castell and the driver.

    If I could give this taxi company 0 stars I would. Previously been banned for requesting a taxi then cancelling it as it took too long and was luckily given a lift by a family member. Today, booked a taxi fine and was asked to meet at a location only to get there to find both myself and my partner’s number blocked leaving two young women stranded in town. They are unhelpful and treat customers like dirt. Caerphilly needs a new taxi service.

    Got an airport transfer with Castell (driver Arzad)..he arrived punctually, helped with bags and car was spacious, comfortable & beautifully clean. He drove smoothly & carefully, was friendly and professional, attentive to passenger needs (radio at suitable level, great at conversation when engaged but gave private space where needed).. very pleasant journey

    Tried to book a taxi 24 hours in advance to pick us up in Nantyglo to bring us back to Bedwas. As regular users, we thought we'd give our local taxi company first option. They wouldn't do it without a £10 cash deposit to be brought to the offices in Caerphilly - what's the point when this is where we were looking to go the next day? Castell have lost a nice fare and lost 2 regular customers who will never use them again. Dire service!

    The women answering the phone was so rude!!! me and my brother were trying to sort a taxi for a family member that had been stranded at 2am in -4 degree weather and because we was trying to find out his exact location she turned to someone I’m assuming was in the office with her and said “Fucking hell I hate this shit” while still having us on the phone… We was gobsmacked, put the phone down and rang another taxi company that was more than happy to help with no attitude whatsoever Hasn’t been the first time she’s given attitude when trying to book a taxi If you’re that miserable at your job, find a new one for everyone’s sake This review has nothing to do with the actual taxi drivers who I’m sure are lovely Merry Christmas I guess

    I was using this taxi service for a while, a couple of blips here and there. had one bad experience back last year when a driver who no longer works for castell gave out my address. Today I rang for a taxi I was almost positive I asked for a big taxi as there was five of us. But the man on the phone was very adamant that I didn't, in which case I said "I'm sure I did ask for a big car, but if not then no worries i apologies ." He would not let me speak at all and said that I called him a liar..which I did not. Very rude spoken man. Awful way to speak to paying customers. But then again i have asked in the past for a taxi with a card machine and they have said "no problem be with you right away" and when they come and I ask they said they were never told about needed a card machine. Ridiculous.

    On multiple occasions this company has let me down. Pre booking a taxi in advance is supposed to ensure you get to the destination on time as they can see the booking and arrange accordingly. However I have been left waiting for a pre booked taxi 40 minutes after the arranged time, on another occasion I have been left waiting so long I had missed my train into Cardiff. This is totally unacceptable! And when confronting the company about this issue, they were extremely unhelpful, quoting “I’m so sorry your taxi is in Porth” or even worse speaking to an irate person on the phone telling how busy he was and how him being on the phone to me was preventing him from answering the phone to new customers… Castell if you’re reading this you need to get your act together, when someone pre books a taxi it means they need to be somewhere at that time. If you cannot accommodate that DO NOT say you can! This is just going to leave people in very difficult positions.

    Just had a very unpleasant phone call with a very volatile man who does not want to be in work today. He claimed to be the boss/owner when asked and when I shared my discomfort at his agreesion he hung up. I was only trying to book a taxi for my sister but was advised she had to do it herself. And what if she is disabled, Sir?! I'd really like to speak with someone about this, I did not wake up to be abused today.
