For some years I have previously used DHL at Snells Newsagent in Penarth; their service has been excellent, but they no longer ship abroad. Last week I went to the new DHL outlet in Penarth at WH Smith. I had already bought my gifts, to fit in my usual DHL size 4 box, but was told that Smiths only stock up to size 3. I was forced to buy last minute smaller replacement gifts (which weren’t as suitable) to fit in the smaller box. Today I was told that actually size 4 boxes should be available, just happen not to be in stock at that store. If I had known this I could have tried to source the correct box from elsewhere. I have always been extremely satisfied with DHL foreign shipments, but this year I have been very disappointed.
