   We have been with Medivet since it took over from the Vaddem practice in Benfleet when he passed on and we were very satisfied with the services we received, always friendly and informative. Due to moving further away from where we lived we tranferred to the Laindon branch where we received identicle friendly and informative service. We certainly would not change our outlook as we feel that the pets are always put first.

   The staff especially the vets have been wonderful. This year i had issues with both my cats and unfortunately one was beyond saving with cancer but the vets did everything they could. My other cat has been here twice this year for surgery and he was treated so well. A great place and great staff. Thank you for all you did for both my cats.

   Excellent ongoing care Vet explained the options, pros and cons and costs clearly. After 6 months the difference the librella is making is wonderful, he is back to bouncing round the love of his life, his agility course, and at nearly 15 he looks amazing

   I came to this vet through an emergency as I was looking after my parents dog whilst away and he got a vomiting and diarrhoea bug. I originally went to VetsForPets in Pitsea who were disgraceful, wanting to charge me nearly £1000 and leaving me waiting 5 hours to see someone. After those 5 hours I tried MediVet in Laindon, I called and spoke to the lady on reception and Vet Nurse who were wonderful. They were able to book me in within the hour. When I went there, they were superb, their attitude and level of care towards my parents dog was wonderful, so calm and patient, and they were genuinely so caring. They gave us another antisickness injection, an appetite stimulant and some antibiotics and even tried to syringe feed him, which then led to him wolfing down some food from the nurse's hand who patently waited for him and encouraged him to eat. We took him home and less than 12 hours later he is already doing so much better. VetsForPets wanted me to pay £1000 to put him on a drip and keep him overnight, whereas MediVets tried strong meds which came to less than a quarter of the price and have genuinely seemed to work, and more importantly he's at home in comfort then in the vets scared and lonely. I felt like VetsForPets were just trying to pump as much money from me as possible. I've now removed my dogs from VetsForPets and will be taking them to MediVets from now on, thank you guys so much for your care, compassion and sound medical advice.

   Our son’s dog whilst in my care was hit by a golf ball which shattered the bones in his leg. He was taken to Medivet Laindon & placed under the expert care of Antonis. Three months & three lots of surgery later & the leg has thankfully healed. Thank-you to Antonis for his skill & expertise in fixing Milo’s leg. He was always very caring & available for help, advice & reassurance & contactable by email which helped the situation we were in. The practice is very friendly & all the staff are helpful. I had to ring on numerous occasions for advice & it was never any trouble for them to help me. I would highly recommend this veterinary surgery.
