Horrendous company trying to get 4 grand off me when they're customer side swiped me while I was at a standstill in traffic. Lie through they're teeth constantly saying they've contacted my insurance which they haven't then sending harassing emails to my self threatening legal action when my insurance firm has already filed this as a no fault claim . These bunch of ambulance chasers haven't a clue what they're doing avoid

Accident on the 1st July, no fault of my own… nationwide recovery took my car on 2nd July….on the 8th July I called Gallagher Basset to see what’s the latest on the assessors report, a woman said I can’t tell you because nobody is here at the moment because they’ve gone home….. it was 5:40 they said they close at 7pm… then on the morning of the 9th July a company called Northern Assessors called me to arrange a time to pick my car up from my house but the car went a week ago I hear you say…. Yes so this is where I’m at the moment…. The left arm doesn’t know what the right arm is are doing at Gallagher Basset Solicitors Pathetic

Unprofessional, unresponsive, disgraceful, time wasters. This company is a trash. My husband had car accident last year in March, claim process went through this company. They don't get a damn about the customer. Nearly 2 years of the accident, no decision, no communication, no responce. Even our solicitor is not getting any responce from them. We are on low income, hubby works for taxi and this accident has taken our bread and butter away. They don't care about their customers. 0 stars. Rubbish service and rubbish company

Long story short, we had a car accident in October. Unfortunately, we have no experience handling it and must be in touch with this terrible company. They were not asked for additional evidence or explanation, and just decided that this dent was not from this accident. Still, we have a clear photo from our car front that our left mirror was closed, and visible broken right side mirror in the video, and an image from another car. We are trying a complaint procedure by email and post now; if we do not hear anything from them, we will try Legal Ombudsman, if needed, and court. We had legal advice. Probably a good idea to share some stories and experiences about this company on Rip-Off Britain.

After putting in a claim to Birmingham Council for the cost of pothole damage to my car the matter was passed to Kier Highways. They in turn passed it to Gallagher Basset who promptly refused my claim I then - as advised by the AA opened a Money Claim on line. Payed the fee but then Gallagher said that the court that issued my claim had no authority to do so ?? I have now proceeded with the submission of a CCJ against them. Let’s see what transpires

So Birmingham city council use kier Group to do repairs to infrastructure and they use Gallagher Basset a multinational insurance company all milking the council for millions and yet they refuse to pay for damage to my moms drive ' private property ' caused by a tree owned by the council on the footpath outside the house . Best laugh is , they have finally agreed to take the tree down and have fixed the pavement /tree root damage ' so obviously ' it was a problem. But the insurers for Kier are saying my mom needs to prove liability for any pay out / repair on drive. Disgraceful behaviour and i was even told by Gallagher Basset doesn't matter if mom is 87 and a fall risk ..

Disappointing. Made a claim against a severe pothole which cause quite significant damage to my tyre of a car I’d owned for less than 3 months. Nearly 2 months after making a claim I receive a letter rejecting my claim saying an inspection has been done at the site 3 weeks before my incident occurred (convenient!!!) Strange though that nothing was done about said pothole until I reported it the day after my incident.... and even that took 5 days to be done! Can’t help but feel that an excuse has been made hoping I’ll drop the claim! Which I won’t be doing and will be looking to take this further! Also the response to emails is days afterwards which isn’t really what you’d expect!
