Visited on Sunday 27th July on the way back from Charlotte Park. Had the beef Sunday dinner, reasonably priced and delicious, good sized portion, not stupidly massive so there's load of waste but plenty enough so you're full afterwards. Beef, carrots, parsnips, roasties, stuffing, red cabbage and a couple of other bits really nicely cooked. Partner had a Pork dinner, she has a better palate than mine and thought the same. If you have kids with you there's a bouncy castle outside to keep them entertained.

A credit to the village. I live in the village and used to use the Granville a lot years ago. But it changed hands a lot and went down hill badly. Last year Jennie and her team took the pub on and have made it into the village hub. The work and efforts they have put in to make it into the village pub we all needed and love is fantastic. We now visit weekly with the kids and the food is fantastic and atmosphere is amazing. They accommodate for all ages, friends and families. We can now even go down on a Saturday night when we don’t have the kids and there’s always music of all types and we can have a dance and a great time. It’s a gem in the village to have for everyone and brings the whole community together.

Popped in here on our way to a short break after seeing it here on Google. Was certainly not disappointed. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the food was superb. We had two different pies, and both were beautiful. Was a lovely touch with cakes on offer for dessert but that supported charity. Would definitely visit again.

We had excellent service for my mums wake. The price per person was just right with an array of freshly made sandwiches and beautiful home baked cakes. Being coeliac I was offered a separate, covered sandwich selection and a gluten free home made cake that all could enjoy along with normal cakes too. The service was also very friendly and welcoming.

Thank you so much for allowing us to hold a wake at your lovely pub. The food was delicious and beautifully presented in a cosy oak beamed room. Your staff are a credit to you. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend this place, seasonal menu, great ale selection, fresh seasonal produce, friendly helpful staff and a great menu. Popped here on way to London, well worth coming off the highway for this little gem. The pepper squid well worth a shout and they allow children also. We will be back for sure. Ditch the service station and make your way here for sure! Also great art in this artisan pub!
