   L&C started out ok, but communication became a real issue at a key stage in the process. When the advisor left the company, I wasn’t informed, and no one picked up my case. This left me repeatedly chasing updates during an essential period for securing a rate. When I raised a complaint, L&C initially told me I hadn’t missed out financially. After I challenged this, they reviewed the case again and acknowledged I could have secured a lower rate, and they refunded the difference. I appreciate that they ultimately corrected the mistake, but it shouldn’t have required that level of persistence on my part. Overall, my experience highlighted two areas that L&C could improve: communication and ensuring continuity when an adviser leaves. If those processes were more reliable, the overall service would be much stronger. Overall, I found L&C unreliable when it mattered most, and I will never use them again.

   We would like to express our sincere thanks to L&C for their professional and responsible service throughout our mortgage application. Callum, our Mortgage Adviser, was extremely professional and offered the most suitable advice based on our situation. He helped us secure our mortgage smoothly and made the whole process much easier for us. Flora, our Case Manager, was also highly professional and incredibly efficient. When our previous solicitor gave us incorrect advice, she immediately helped us double-check the details with the lender and guided us through resolving the issue. Her timely support truly saved us from unnecessary delays. L&C is a very trustworthy and responsible company. They made the entire mortgage process far less stressful, and we are genuinely grateful for all the help from Callum and Flora. Highly recommended.

   Hassan Al Qbain at L&C has been amazing once again! He helped me and my wife find the best rate and deal when remortgaging recently, just like he did with our last one. He always calls when he says he will, keeps us up to date, and explains everything clearly so we know exactly what’s going on. It really makes the whole process stress-free. I completely trust L&C, and especially Hassan, he’s reliable, friendly, and genuinely wants to get the best deal for you. We won’t be going anywhere else when our next deal is up, I’ll definitely be getting back in touch with Hassan!

   We had an amazing experience working with Joseph Johnson from the L&C Mortgages team, who was an absolute superstar. We needed to secure a fairly large loan, and as first time buyers, were keen to work with an experienced mortgage advisor to help us through this process. I can safely say that without Joe’s support, the sale of our flat would have most likely not completed in time, before our Mortgage offer expired. Joe went above and beyond at every step. Helping us secure the best possible rate for our mortgage, in what was then, an extremely volatile interest rate environment. Even during the sale process, Joe helped chase our conveyancing firm, when they were slow to progress our case and leveraged his contacts at the mortgage lender, to help us secure an extension - enabling us to complete sale just in the nick of time. I know who I will be calling when it’s time for re-mortgaging. Thanks so much Joe!!

   As a first time buyer, I didn't have a clue. A friend recommended L&C mortgages. I had contacted L&C and spoke to James Francis over the phone, and filled in a mortgage application. Within the day, James was able to find me a mortgage provider and my application got accepted on the same day. As my mortgage application was submitted during the Christmas period, it had taken a while for the lender to assess my application. During this period my Case manager Hermione Reid chased this up every week and informed me what the updates were via the portal. James and Hermione were both easy to reach when I had any questions or queries, and responded swiftly. The L&C portal was really helpful as you can see what different stages you are at during the process. Any documents that were requested could easily be uploaded. Overall, I am happy with the service I received at L&C mortgages and would highly recommend.

   L&C were fantastic, Stephanie was super helpful and really efficient! She found us a mortgage that was coming off market and we managed to secure it with no issues. She was also great at keeping us updated along the way and was very helpful when I rang a couple of times even after we had been passed over to our advisor.    Very positive experience with L&C, after filling in some details online and getting a mortgage in principle, and making an offer our advisor Reece went through the application with us, he was very knowledgeable when I had questions. Providing documents to support the application was done through the online portal and everything was very straight forward. Reece was also there to offer support when we had a few issues between our solicitor and the vendors solicitor to make sure the mortgage offer did not expire. Highly recommended and if/when we need another mortgage we would definately use L&C as our broker.
