   This is the 2nd time we've used Steve to look at re-mortgage deals for us as we received great service as we did the first time round. Even though a rate was agreed with our new mortgage provider, Steve still managed to negotiate a lower rate after there was news about rates being slightly reduced.    They were extremely unhelpful when I called them over the phone to enquire about something. They purposefully misunderstood my questions, called me a discriminatory slur, and then refused to ever take my calls again. This company is disgusting, unhelpful, and quite frankly, not worth your time. I have no idea why people are posting such high reviews; I think they’re probably fake. This is the fourth incident with this company that I have endured, and now I have to leave this review. AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!! *response to owner reply. you can say you don’t have a record of any calls for public appearances, but everybody knows what happened. I am definitely not leaving this review on the wrong company, although you’d love to tell people that. You can tell everything about this company and the people that work there just based off the pathetic, sarcastic reply they have given me. “perhaps you could give us a try?” I have given your business multiple tries, and it’s been equally awful every time. Stop wasting your time with these fake, sarcastic replies for public appearances, and put your effort into fixing your toxic, diabolical business practices. How scary!

Time was of the essence and Steve was thoughtful, thorough and most importantly efficient in helping me select the right mortgage for me in my current situation.    I would recommend Alexander Financial Services for a few reasons. From our first conversation Stephen was both professional and really friendly. I was not a standard client but he listened carefully to my circumstances and gave me lots of useful information about the options I was thinking about for my long term strategy and the path I wanted to take. He spent time making sure he understood my needs and came back very quickly with a range of products which we then discussed before I made a final choice. I've now used the company for a second time and had the same excellent friendly service.

   Great service from start to finish. Our own bank knocked us back after weeks of messing about, then another broker said he couldn't help. Wish we'd gone straight to Steve in the first place - within 24 hours of contacting him, we got our moretgage agreed in principle and then a week later a moretgage offer was agreed! Obviously knows his stuff, but explains everything in nice simple terms. Highly recommended!!

   Discovered Steve through a website for mortgage brokers in our local area, he came highly recommended from others on the reviews and we haven’t looked back since. We originally went with another mortgage group which specialise in new homes, who were a bunch of cow boys not willing to put the effort in to get us a deal with a lender. As first time buyers, we got knocked back by the first lender through that mortgage group, at this point our housing developers wanted to pull our property from us as we didn’t have a mortgage in place. We gave Steve an emergency phone call, 7pm on a Friday evening, within that SAME evening Steve had contacted our developers for us which he didn’t have to do, but as a customer we were more than grateful as it put the developers at ease, and within 2-3 days he’d got us our mortgage offer on a great deal. We’d gone from thinking we were losing our dream first home, to Steve pulling it out the bag straight away. We only wish we’d have gone to him straight away to avoid the first knock back! We haven’t got the mortgage yet as our property isn’t complete yet, but we look forward to working with Steve further and get everything completed once everything’s finished. Great guy and would absolutely recommend to anyone.
