Very friendly staff I will be using them again shortly to buy a watch.i had a sentimental chain with rings on I took it in to be cleaned went back to collect it wouldn't charge normally jeweler charges a nominal fee not these simply the best.thanks so much.
I was having real difficulty finding a gold chain for a pendant I had had made for my wedding. The lady really helped me look through the different options, provided me with her expert opinion and advised what suited and what didn't suit the pendant. I left with a beautiful chain that is perfect for my pendant and I really appreciate the fantastic service I received. When I need pieces of Jewellery in the future, Browns will be the first place I go!

Really friendly staff and a good range of jewellery. Good old-fashioned service which you don't see very often these days. I recommend this shop to anyone. I found them the best price for selling old gold giving almost one third more than other jewellery shops
Absolutely delighted, walked in on Monday with my very unusual Celtic Cross, asking if they could find anything like it, explaining all the new reproductions are now half the weight, so I wanted a really old one. I was very impressed they were so obliging and took photographs of mine. Two days later when I got the phone call to say they had found one, I felt no way was it going to be anything like mine, then the photograph was sent and it was absolutely identical. I am absolutely overjoyed. I purchased twice the weight at literally half the price I was quoted for the lighter version. First rate service. Highly recommended. I’ve been all over looking, and got one a few miles from home. Fabulous indeed. Thank you so so much ladies.
Great service, the team looked after me really well. They fully restored and resized a family ring that had been passed down to me and was 80 years old. I was reluctant to leave it but they reassured me and turned it around in less than a week. Thank you guys i am made up with the work you have done.

I don’t ever normally write reviews, but I feel Browns definitely deserve one!...I purchased a beautiful diamond ring from their Halifax store in August, sadly only 6 months later the diamond chipped...obviously I was mortified, I’d loved the ring and was panicking about how much more I was going to have to fork out to get it repaired....I visited Browns Halifax today and they totally put my mind at ease...they were so understanding and kind!...they advised the would get the ring fixed for me at no extra cost with only having 6 months...(the ring apparently did have some inclusions in the diamond which may have assisted in the chip, but I knew about the inclusions on purchase). I walked out of Browns store with my faith restored in the retail market! And that is saying something in this day and age!...I always have and always will use Browns as my go to for jewelry and would recommend them to anyone!
I shopped in person at the Halifax branch and was treated like royalty by the attentive assistant . I was only buying a £20 pound watch but I was made to feel like the most valuable shopper ever to shop there . A really nice change in this modern world . Thank you so much .
Very lovely places and friendly and helpful and like if you see something you can pay so much money of it at a time and they put it away till you pay for it then when all payed for then you get your beautiful gift you bought yourself or for someone eles lovely lady's and services in there love the shop got some beautiful and not dear things in there as well money for Vale you
