Have used these kennels 2-3 x a yr for about 10 years. Drove over today & the place looks closed. The office is dismantled, no one answered the buzzer & more telling, there were no dogs barking. The website says it’s open, but IMO it looks shut down. Best to ring before attempting to visit.
They provided good care to our beautiful boy for a few nights when we were away to Scotland. Very responsive and although not the best value for money (in fact over £60 per night!) we had no worries and that in itself is priceless. Very reliable. This is a nom de plume.
Found this kennel for my baby doggo. And I must say he was extremely happy staying there. The owner is just amazing and the service outstanding. I really recommend this kennel. As I have looked at quite a few in the area and this is the best. Kennels are spacious and clean. And the price way better that other Kennels. Cant recommend it enough
Harley has stayed here several times. It always amazes me how all the staff know all the dogs. It's the only place where she comes out so happy, giving affection to us for collecting her but importantly it's lovely to see how she interacts with the staff who clearly invest a lot of time while we're away and make a fuss. Couldn't recommend Pipwood highly enough!
The staff here are AMAZING with the animals, true pet lovers. No matter what the weather the staff are always smiling and welcoming. Our dogs have stayed here many times over the past 6 years and absolutely love it. When we open the boot of the car and they realise where they are they are really happy, and never look back when we say good bye. When we first called enquiring, we were told to visit whenever and we would see the staff doing what they do. No set up, no presence, and we knew our boys would be safe here and yes they get lots of cuddles. We are really happy leaving our boys here, don’t know what would do without the staff and kennels here. xx
My dogs have been staying here on and off for many years and I can highly recommend Pipwood, my dogs love it here. When I collect them they are always happy and in top condition.
We love Pipwood! After visiting lots of kennels in our search we came across Pipwood. We loved the warm and friendly atmosphere and all the animals looked happy and well looked after. We have been taking our one year old Bassett Hound, Phoebe there since she was six months old and they treat her as if she were family. When we arrive at Pipwood Phoebe cannot wait to get out of the car and runs straight in! It is such a relief to know she is happy while we are away.
I first used Pipwood Kennels ten year sa go looking after my dog. They even offered to care for him when he'd had unexpected surgery prior to a family holiday. Sadly the dog is no longer with us but I take my cat there. The staff welcome him like one of their own; always ask his meal preference; clearly they give him a cuddle on occasions too! he is a white and ginger cat and is always spotlessly clean when I collect him.
