Have been taking guinea pigs to stay at Now Boarding Croydon for several years now. Responses are always prompt and the guinea pigs seem to really enjoy their time being looked after. Would recommend!
We very nervously left our very lovely but rather old rabbit Peggy with Lorraine. So reassuring to see her photo on the site and we now have her back home having been well cared for during her stay. Many thanks Lorraine
I have been taking my rabbit Rolo to stay with Lorraine for a few years now and once he stayed there for around 2 months whilst I was moving home. Rolo has always been well cared for and I feel very happy to have somewhere to leave him where I know he will be looked after and happy! Lorraine always asks for vaccination certificates which gives me confidence that all the animals in her care have up to date vaccinations so I know Rolo will be safe there. There have been a few times when I have had flight delays or similar and Lorraine has always been accommodating! Very pleased with the service and I would thoroughly recommend Lorraine and her family
So happy to have found a lovely boarding centre where we know our rabbit Harley will be well looked after when we're away. Lorraine clearly cares a great deal about the animals staying with her and we really appreciated that Lorraine shared a photo of Harley on the Now Boarding Croydon Facebook page while we were on holiday so we could see how he was getting on. Would highly recommend!
I'm disappointed to say that I didn't share the same positive experience as the other customers have reported. There is no doubt that our 2 male Guinea Pigs were cared for during their stay here. This review is more to do with the interactions with me as the pet owner. Communication with me was very poor, not one single update either during the GP's 4 day stay nor when I picked them up. Yet the owners thought it was appropriate to take pictures of the GP's & post on social media for their own gain, without the common courtesy of asking permission. Unfortunately, I was held up driving across London to collect, I'd let Lorraine know & she was ok with this. When I arrived, I feel like the boys had been in their carrier for some considerable time, they were petrified. I can only believe that they were put in at a certain time & left regardless. Also worth noting that there is a cat roaming around the house where the boys were left in their carrier. Bottom line, it feels like this is very much a business transaction for Lorraine, once you've paid that's the comms over with & for a place that is looking after my pets, I expect a little more heart & care to be shown towards them. I won't be returning.
