   Our boy spent 2 weeks at Birchwood and am glad to say that he had a great time. The Birchwood team understood his needs (nervous rescue) and were very understanding and accommodating. We got updates via Instagram and it was good to see him whilst we were away. I’d definitely recommend this kennel to anyone looking for piece of mind.

   Our doggy loves going to Birchwood kennels, she always goes in very happily and unlike other kennels we have sent her to, also comes out very happy, as well as smelling great thanks to the grooming service! The staff clearly love the dogs and I would highly recommend.

   I can’t recommend this dog kennel highly enough! The service is truly top-notch — the staff clearly care deeply about the dogs and treat them like their own. Every time I leave my pup here, I have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in safe, loving hands. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the level of care and attention given, and the communication is exceptional. I always get updates and feel completely in the loop. On top of that, the groomers they work with are amazing! My dog always comes home looking (and smelling!) fantastic. It’s such a bonus to have grooming available alongside boarding. Overall, an outstanding experience every time. Highly recommended!

   We have used Birchwood twice now after a bad experience with another kennels. On both occasions our whippet has returned happy, healthy and tired after making new doggy friends. We are so pleased we have found somewhere that gives us peace of mind when we are away and we cannot recommend Andy and his team highly enough.

   We were really worried about leaving our little dog in the kennels as she is a rescue and very nervous. However she had a great time at Birchwood Lodge. The owner made me feel really at ease and answered every message I sent him when I checked in to see how she was!!! Lily made lots of friends and we could see as soon as we went to collect her that she was happy. Would highly recommend Birchwood Lodge and will definitely take Lily there again.

   Birchwood Lodge is so different to any other kennel we have used in the past. It really is a doggy day care where they can play and have fun, day after day.. You can imagine, having two rescue dogs who had been severely abused and caged their entire life are very unwilling to be left in a kennel. Most kennel will cage the dog and forget about them. But not Birchwood Lodge Kennels and Cattery. Because of how fantastic the Birchwood Lodge team are, our dogs love visiting. While we are on holiday, so are our dogs.

   This was the first kennels we'd ever used and our 2 year old dog absolutely loved it. Andy showed us round before we booked in and the place was very clean, all the dogs seemed happy and energetic and the team seemed to genuinely love being with them. Our dog came home happy and sleepy, and when we arrived for her second stay she was so excited to go in.

   I was nervous leaving my dog at the kennel as he had previously been to a different kennel and did not settle at all. I was so happy to know he was happy there while we were away. Andy kept in touch with me throughout and totally put my mind at ease. He was a happy healthy dog when we collected him ( the last kennel he went to he was unhappy and had lost a lot of weight), which was a big relief! Thank you so much to all at Birchwood!
