The worst business I have ever dealt with in my life.
My VAT returns are 2 years late, my self assessment is 10 months behind. As you can guess HMRC has instructed debt collectors to collect unpaid tax from me.
They charged me £5,000 for the year. The person I mainly dealt with whose name begins with G, had no sense of urgency what so ever. For the first year he pretty much did nothing other than make excuses like he was sick / on holiday / off work / working from home etc etc He always had an excuse. He had the cheek to blame it all on me and say its all my fault that all my accounts are far behind.
They increased 2nd year fees from £5,000 to £8,000 without any reason.
When I asked for a break down of where the costs were coming from he refused to supply such details but he did once say to me he charged me £250 just to visit my warehouse and £50 per hour for book keeping services when other bookers charge around £15/hr. Its as though they charge what ever they like without my knowledge.
How is it possible for a firm that says was established in 1851 which is 173 years old only has 3 reviews???
Now I have found better accountants charging £1,800 year instead of this firms rip off prices and incompetent work.
