I have been receiving calls from BSB ever since my account was passed from together energy in 2022. I have not agreed to pay the bill for a few reasons (until today). Firstly when I first heard that I “owed money”, I called British Gas to ask who I should pay and they said all my bills had passed to BG and I should ignore requests for payment from anyone else. Secondly, BSB were calling to request an amount of money from me without ever proving that I owed the money. In actual fact, the bills provided whilst I was with BSB were estimates, and when I provided my meter readings to BG it turned out that my usage was far less than the estimates. Today I agreed to pay a settlement figure over the phone. When the call handler asked me to approve the transaction on my banking app, I felt nervous because I’ve never had to do that before. I politely told him that I felt nervous and asked if he could provide me with a web address that I could use to verify the company. He began to get quite aggressive and was pressuring me to finalise the transaction. I said he shouldn’t be pressuring a customer who was trying to do the right thing and verify the genuineness of the transaction. I asked if BSB are regulated by the financial conduct authority and the call handler said that they are. I have since checked this and it is totally untrue - according to the FCA they used to be regulated but have been removed from the register. This has made me believe the company is a scam. I’m not convinced I owe this company any money in the first place and I believe the conduct of the company members is fraudulent - claiming to be regulated by a body that has no dealings with you. I am shaken and will be taking advice with the FCA and Citizens Advice. I advise anyone to get advice before engaging.

Way back in 2020 I signed up to Look after my bills who arrange switchovers between Utility Companies. At that time (around May 2020) I received an email saying that they had arranged a switch from Bulb to Together Energy. I was perfectly happy with Bulb and contacted LAMB requesting the switch got cancelled and I heard nothing more. My account remained with Bulb and they continued to take payment by DD every month. Fast forward 2 years and I receive email from BSBC claiming I owe £244.77 to Together Energy which I disputed. I provided proof that I was never a customer of TE and requested evidence from them what the debt was for. I received another email in Sept 3023 chasing again. No acknowledgement of the emails sent and when I called they said they would put a note on file. It all went quiet until yesterday I received yet another payment demand threatening legal action if I don't pay. The hardest thing is there is no help out there. Octopus Energy who took over TE were unable to help as there was no account to speak of. Citizens Advice have said to make contact again with them and also ombudsman. I am reading a lot of reviews of this company and they all say the same thing. Bullying, false debts owed and incompetency. I am today contacting my own legal representative as I have all the evidence that I don't owe a penny to TE

This is by far the worst company that I have ever had the misfortune to have to deal with. Like everyone else I have received emails demanding that I pay money that I don’t owe. I have never disputed that I owe some money and that I’m eager to pay that, but the amount owing is a fraction of the amount demanded. I have sent them plenty of evidence confirming that my figures are correct such as photographs of meter readings at the start of my contract and photographs of meter readings at the end of the contract ( photos included the dates that they were taken) I also sent photos of all payments made to Together Energy via my bank account. I even did the calculation for them based on my tariff information, yet the collection agent refuses to accept that that I don’t owe the amount they have demanded. I asked them to provide evidence proving their figures but they have declined to provide this information. They now send ‘no reply’ emails threatening legal action although I have sent many emails to the company- they do not respond. They ask me to ring them yet the phone is constantly busy and they never return my calls. I almost welcome court action as I have all my evidence in a file to produce at a hearing. If I could give this company minus stars , I would.

I received email from them claiming I owe money to Together energy. I spoke to Elle Smith and she confirmed my case is closed after providing her with proof that after the bill I payed my normal direct debit for another 2 months, so in fact they owe me money. Not even a month later I received another email from Lucy Holt with the same issue, that I owe money to Together Energy. I tried to call company since, every day, more than 50 times a day, no answer. Emails sent, no response. Just makes you wonder how that company is working

I received a letter relating to an energy bill that I tried to pay when the company went bust but their system was down so they couldn't take payment. I was assured at the time that nothing bad would happen as I had tried to pay, so was annoyed to receive this letter with a £50 admin fee added to the bill. I phoned BSB (after verifying the legitimacy of the letter) and explained this to Mark, who quickly agreed to remove the admin fee, processed my payment and sent me a confirmation email, all within about 6 minutes. I'm leaving this review in case it reassures others that these companies are not all terrible!

Demanding supposed outstanding fees from utility point account over 2 years ago, providing no proof that I owe any money. Have informed them I didnt have any outstanding debt and asked for proof which they can't provide, yet they continue to harrass me and threaten court action! From previous reviews I think they are a fraudulent company and am awaiting a reply to my complaint before I contact ombudsman.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I am being hounded for money that I do not owe; I have sent proof that I do not owe this money to several people within your organisation all of whom IGNORE ANY CORRESPONDANCE. Yet I get constant emails 'fees have been added to your account for non-payment'. Non-payment of money that was cleared a year and a half ago and proof has been sent directly to you. Customer service is absolutely appalling. I have emailed countless people; everything gets ignored and you just get harassed for money. The amount of stress and worry you must cause people is just inhumane. No one ever responds to you; if they do respond, they ask you to send the same documentation you've already sent to 5 of their colleagues and then you get no response. You ask for proof that you owe the money, and you don't receive it. It's an absolute mockery of a company.

Utility point went bust with me owing them about £40, six months later a different debt collectors contacted me and the money was paid. Another six months later this bunch of clowns contacted me about the same debt, i thought it was a scam at first but phoned them up to check. I sent them the email from the prior debt collection company saying the debt has been paid but THEY WONT ACCEPT THIS AND KEEP SENDING ME EMAILS. They dont send anything via post, maybe due to that costing them money. Emails and txts dont count as contact in law

This company is HARASSING me for money I do not owe! I cleared my bill with my energy provider before the went bump and I have proved this on 4 separate emails to this company and they are STILL hounding me with emails demanding I pay money that I do not owe!!! 4 times now I have asked for a call back to confirm they have received my proof of payment and nobody has EVER called me back. After doing some research I am well aware that this company is now breaking the law by harassing me for a payment I don’t and have never owed!! Hopefully leaving this here it may finally generate some urgency to stop the harassment!
