Trying to get an update on just about anything is a nightmare with these people. Phone lines are automated and purposely designed to take forever to get through to a real person. The irony is the line opens with 'Here for neurodivergents, people with other disabilities etc', as someone on the spectrum, this phoneline was the worst experience imaginable. So many holes to jump through. It is for this reason I shall be avoiding this company in the future. Website doesn't have a lot of options either. Companies like this are slowly eroding the country.

The worst finance company I have been with and I think it’s criminal that you don’t get options of different brokers when buying a car. They are useless and pass you from department to department to just end up back at the same place you started with! They will tell you they have updated your account as per your request just to find out that nothing has been changed. Honestly would advise anyone don’t finance anything with them because the pain and stress of having to deal with them is not worth it.

I have honestly not used anything more horrendous than Blackhorse finance website or customer service helpline. You are waiting a minimum of 15 mins just to speak with a human being. Calling trying to gain access to their customer service portal as it's locked me out. To be told by an automated system that it would be easier to use their portal!? Painful experience and the staff you speak to are no help at all, they don't seem to have a clue either when asking for assistance with your query. I've honestly got bruises from banging my head against the wall.

I had a very good experience with Black Horse Finance. Although it took a long time to receive my refund from the dealership. They maintained a continuous high level of professionalism throughout the process. I was very upset and emotional at times and they directed me calmly and considerately and gave me support throughout. The worst company I have ever had finance with! I will never deal with these crooks again. I bought my dream car 2 years and 5 months ago. Now I have no car and £8500 worth of debt because they refuse to accept liability! My Jag is a 2017 plate with 57K miles on and the engine just literally seized out of no where! Diagnostics showed a faulty turbo caused this! Appauling company. Do not get in with this trash!!!!

Because of that I returned the car , this company down my score. Please don’t get any finance with these companies at all . Bad service

Worst finance company I have ever had the unfortunate pleasure to deal with! They rejected my application to which I was told by the car company to call them as they couldn’t understand why. After trying numerous times to get through I was told they could not talk to me about my application due to gdpr despite the fact I was the one applying for the finance!! I asked if I could speak to an advisor to be told why? I said because I want to know why I’ve been rejected with perfect credit. And she said “we just aren’t looking to proceed with you” the attitude of staff is beyond anything I’ve had to deal with in my life and how this company is still dealing I will never know! I went to Tesla after and was approved instantly with no problems! Avoid this company at all costs! It’s honestly not worth the stress and damage to your credit score with numerous searches by them!

I haven’t had any issues with them. My payment has been taken on time every month. It’s been easy on my online account to make extra payments and settle my balance early, with immediate email confirmation. They send statements when requested, and confirmation in the post of any extra payments made. It usually takes a couple of days to process a payment and show on your account. You have the option when you make overpayments to either adjust the length of the term or adjust the payment amount which is good to have that choice. I’ve only had to phone them twice in my four year agreement to ask a general question and both times I’ve had really lovely customer service agents who have been helpful, polite and answered my questions. They have made improvements to their website in the last year or so to make your account more accessible. The only suggestion I would make, which I’m sure they are already looking in to, is to have a web chat service rather than needing to phone or write to them. All in all, I’ve no complaints and I would use them again.
