recently called Godiva Mortgages on behalf of my mother, whose first language is not English. I was assisting her by translating what the representative was saying. During the call including during security verification the representative told me I should not have spoken, despite my involvement being necessary for my mother to understand the information. Later, my mother asked if she could hand the call over to me, and the representative again refused. The representativeβs tone was rude, unhelpful, and lacked cultural sensitivity. This made it very difficult for my mother to access her own mortgage information and caused unnecessary distress. I hope Godiva improves training and allows support for customers who need translation or a trusted family member to assist during calls.

ZERO way to get in touch with them if you are not in the UK. No WhatsApp business chat, no landing form on their site, no email address, no international number. It is urgent to speak with them. This is a crazy way to run a business. Update : It is now THREE YEARS of me trying to get to my mortgage. I have come back to the UK and called them. I am trying to get my account statements. On doing the security check on the phone they asked me to quote the last outgoing on my statement. HOW!? When that is precisely what I am trying to access. Furthermore when I tried to file a complaint they took all the information (which took over 45mins) only to then say at the end βoh actually we cannot file this as we need your account accessed to do so. This is now getting very serious and I can only think the next step is involving the police. They are facilitating my ex husbands financial abuse. He is the one getting the statements.

Brilliant telephone customer services. Answering call quickly, call handler has human touch with great listening. I explained the reason for my call (self assessment tax return). I was taken through security in two steps. The call was not complicated and I felt reassured with the information and time frames for me requested. I have been a customer for a few years and I have found the call centre staff lovely and professional.

Unbelievably this company gives you a mortgage offer for a specific time period that starts as soon as theyβve made their offer, even if they have not actually lent you the money yet. Avoid like the plague!!!

Our experience with godiva has been excellent. How mortgage application was dealt with and accepted in two weeks. The longest I've waited for the telephone to be answered is four minutes. All staff members have been pleasant, polite and have been able to deal with my questions competently. Would definitely recommend.

Have tried several times to contact them, nobody answers the phone. There is no other way of contact. There appears to be no complaints procedure either. Iβm beginning to wonder if anyone works here
