Very quiet and neutral place. Honestly very pleasent surprise. Also see people fishing there not sure if they have any luck :)
Another one of Bradfords hidden treasures. This is such a beautiful place for a walk or run. It's not a place where I would take my kids for safety reasons. The dam walls are level with the trail or footpath, and there are no handrails around, so they could trip and fall in easily if left to run freely. It's more a place to escape for a while. Take in the fresh air and listen to the soothing sounds of the birds in the trees and the ducks in the water. The trail through the woods is a bit boggy in areas but good for the most part. It gets very narrow but provides fantastic views over looking the reservoir. Free parking is available at the entrance on Howarth Road. It really a magical place.

I think this would be a great walk whatever the weather! Car park for 15 cars, walk both or one reservoir, great for walking, jogging, dogs. Not many birds on the water but a lovely wooded walk and heard lots of wild birds!
Visited on two consecutive sunny days. Free on street parking at one entrance and a proper but small car park off Howarth Road. Walking path around the two reservoirs including a woodland walk. Nice for a short stroll but place busy with noisy and disruptive gangs of boys. Doesn't make you feel safe. Saw people swimming in the top reservoir.

Lovely place to walk the dog but no bins for litter except in the carpark and at the far end of the second reservoir. Excellent clean up service performed by Big Ernie who is there most mornings but this is something he wouldn't have to do as much if there were more bins.
We have recently moved to this area, and this was our first time here. What a beautiful place. Had a lovely day out with family, nature at its best. Looking forward to visiting this place again.
Lovely walk around the reservoir and woods but the circular walk was very disappointing. After going on a few narrow paths heading up to the golf course there was loads of rubbish and fly tipping, some of which had been burnt! Dirty nappies, plastic clothes and furniture all dumped. I won't be doing this walk again and wouldn't recommend.
