Cannot recommend highly enough. Felt so comfortable leaving my dog in their care. Willow gets five star treatment which puts my mind at rest. I get regular updates and photos which goes above and beyond. Thank you for making my girl happy.
I have been taking my Cavalier King Charles puppy to Susan for a number of months now. He goes to daycare once a week and loves every moment there. He gets to socialise with the other dogs, goes on walks to the woods and gets to play in Susan’s lovely grounds.Susan has certainly bought the best out in my puppy
Our miniature Dachshund has been a regular guest at the Dog House Hotel both as a boarder and as a day visitor for doggie day care and she loves it! As a lockdown puppy we initially were looking for doggie daycare to help with socialising with other dogs. We were also struggling with recall. Both of these things have been addressed through time spent at DogHouse Hotel. Susan is amazing with the dogs in her care and they love her. We get an update at the end of every session and regular photos and videos of the dogs during their stay. Our little dog is a big part of our family but there are times when it is not possible to include them in what we are doing. So it is really reassuring to know that while we are away she is being looked after so well. I couldn't recommend Doghouse Hotel and Susan enough.
Always a lovely experience for my dog, who seems to prefer staying here than being at home! Susan is amazing, and Bub loves the whole family!
Susan is brilliant have been sending my 4 year old dog there for the last year for both boarding and day care. He runs to her as soon as she arrives to collect him and during covid her safety and cleanliness procedures are second to none. The love the dogs have for susan and vice versa are clear to see . With daily contact and pictures sent when boarding it nice to know our dog is being walked ( in private safe grounds ) fed and loved like a home from Home .
I have a 10mth old Maltese, I spoke to Susan told her all the information she asked about my reggie , who was lovely, we arranged an overnight stay before myself & Susan was happy & agreed a weeks stay at doggy Hotel, we we're both happy for this an myself an family we're going to Cornwall @ 6am Friday the 31st of July, an we Had dropped reg off the 30th july afternoon. Over 2hrs into our journey I received a text from Susan saying I had to go an pick reg up or get someone to pick him up as Susan had been up since 6am cleaning as reggie apparently was scenting over curtains, table, 2 dogs beds. Reggie has never done this before so I was shocked to hear he had done this. However I was annoyed with this as we had start our journey & the reason we put reggie at Susan's was because we had no one to have reg. We had to arrange for someone to collect him which then cost us more money, an after paying Susan £232. The lady who picked reg up also had to catch reg from running out of gates an Has now injured her shoulder due to this, Susan also told her that my dog had also scented all over her daughters bedding & mattress in her bedroom, which I don't no why reg was evan aloud in their as I was told by Susan she sits in the dogs living room in the house. Susan charged me £32 for the nights stay an then charged me £30 for cleaning & laundry. The lady who had reg said he didn't do anything like that at all the whole time she had him, an Susan also forgot reggies harness so couldn't be taken for a walk, which I only got told by Susan when I texted an asked about it. I spoken with a few dog owners an they have said aswell as myself, this was not professional at all in many ways, an why was my 10mth boy aloud in a bedroom an on bed to scent on mattress as well as everywhere else. I won't be using Susan again unfortunately, as I didn't think things we're dealt with a professional manner, like many I've losted a family member & had alot of stress & alot to deal with like many others over thes last nearly 2yrs an saved so hard to get a stress free week & the 1st day I'm having to sort out, pay evan more money to make sure reggie was looked after, an trust someone I've never met in person to look after my Maltese 10mth boy. If you have a young dog I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Also I was only told on the afternoon we dropped reg off that if the dogs chew anything you will get billed for any damages at all too.
