   I had an upsetting experience at the Thurmaston Boots store in September when collecting a prescription. Despite raising my concerns multiple times, I’ve only received dismissive responses from the store manager, area manager, and now the Executive Office. At no point did anyone take genuine accountability or offer a personal apology for the distress and embarrassment I experienced. Boots’ “collective apology” feels like a way to avoid responsibility. They’ve also refused to share whether any action was taken against the staff member involved or to offer any goodwill gesture. What’s worse is being told that the area manager is the highest point of contact and that my case will not be reviewed further — even by the Executive Office. It feels like Boots just want to close complaints, not resolve them. I’m extremely disappointed in how this has been handled. Boots used to be a brand I trusted, but after this experience, I’ve completely lost confidence in their customer care and values.

   I am writing to express my profound disappointment and anger regarding an incident at your Thurmaston store. I was treated with complete disrespect by a security guard, who followed me around the store and acted as if I was a thief. This is especially distressing given my circumstances. I am a new father and was very sleep-deprived after looking after my newborn. Instead of showing compassion, your security guard made an unfair judgment based on my appearance and proceeded to embarrass me publicly throughout my visit. When I reported this discriminatory behaviour to the store manager, they took no action and completely ignored the situation. This lack of care and accountability is appalling. The manager’s response, or lack thereof, suggests that this behaviour is acceptable, which it absolutely is not. I was made to feel humiliated and will never shop at this store again. I will also be sharing this story with other new parents in the area to warn them about the unprofessional and discriminatory treatment they might receive. This was not just bad customer service—it was a deeply upsetting and unethical experience.

   Nice, but slow and timid staff. Getting medication here seems like a prolonged effort despite years of getting my medication from them. I eventually changed to another pharmacy.

   this was our first port of call at the retail park. came here for my nizoral shampoo after i was unable to get it at tesco!! what a lovely boots. found what i needed, shop was very clean and tidy. the product i bought ended up being cheaper than advertised too! i actually can’t believe there are self scans here. very risky business, theft and shoplifting etc i imagine may be rife. thankfully there is some security here. there were 3 self scans and quite the queue, but we didn’t wait too long really. a fab experience!

   I've been a loyal Boots customer for five years, but my recent experience with one of your checkout staff was appalling. I went to boots thurmoston in Leicester today around 1 pm . When I asked about using my student discount, the lady on checkout rudely informed me that my college wasn't eligible. I'm a full-time student and receive discounts everywhere else. To avoid her, I went to Fosse Park Boots, where they promptly activated my student card. This isn't the first time this has happened with the same employee, and I'm fed up. Her attitude has caused me significant inconvenience, forcing me to go out of my way. I expect better customer service.

   Took in a disposable camera to get developed. It has been 7 weeks and the store is telling me they don't have my order when the courier has photo evidence the order has been delivered. Also, no one answers the phone

   Boots pharmacy Thurmaston Tried calling for 40mins no one answered. Got there to pick up my medication but wouldn’t give as pharmacist was not around. Asked why no one picked up the phone, said very busy. This is st 7pm, and there was hardly anyone there. Really bad service,

   I was looking for certain colour of Foundation, Member of staff called Jason came to assist me his knowledge of the products #Boots sell was very impressive. He was professional, understanding of my ethnicity and he listened to what I wanted. Yes I did buy a product and am extremely happy with it. Thank you Jason.
