Excellent service. I am a regular user of catteries as we travel abroad on short and long stay vacations. I am very fussy about who I leave my cats with as I want them to be calm and settled whilst I am away. I want to know they are in good hands. I collected my cats and was told how it went. I am very happy with the service and will continue to use this cattery. I recommend this place 100% as the woman I dealt with was very cat focused.

When collecting cat, it was distressed and climbing the cattery door on collection and howling. Once at home she had sickness and diarrhoea. Taken to the vets, over night stay for dehydration and put on drip for 24 hours, plus bloods tests costing £1100.
Still not well after 3 weeks.

When collecting my cat, their (fabric) carrier felt damp and wet, (they are stored on the roof of the cats individual pen), and I noticed when I got home that the zip on one side had rusted closed. This was a new carrier and in perfect condition when I left her there.
Upon collecting my baby, her tummy was a little swollen (I noticed but thought she must have been off of her food).
A week later I lost my darling girl to FIP (not to be confused with FIV). My vets were non committal as to whether it could have been picked up at the cattery, it is spread by poor hygiene issues. I cannot say for sure, but my beautiful little girl dying a week after collecting her I find suspicious. I am in no way blaming the cattery as the vet said it could be "one of those things", but the fact her carrier came back damp did not inspire me.
I also was not impressed with the "pick up" procedure. Basically, all cats being picked up for that day are already in their carrier awaiting your arrival. I picked up 5 minutes before they closed. How long was my little girl in her carrier waiting for me?
I did not at the time contact Pampuss re the FIP, and it is only now, after losing her 11 months ago I feel I can write a review. She was only 14 months old.
Please do check the cattery out for yourself in person before booking.

My cats needed to be housed for 3 months whilst I was in between homes. I felt instantly confident that they would be cared for after meeting the family that run and own the Cattery.
I was nervous that my cats would be unhappy and had expected that after such a long time away from me they would be different but they were cared for so well and I can say that after just a few weeks back with me I feel as though I made the right decision using Pampuss Mews. I know that my cats were given everything that they needed, but they were loved. I recommend the Pampuss Mews Cattery wholeheartedly. Jetta really loves cats and it's obvious as soon as you arrive with your furbaby. She feeds them 4 times a day so that they get lots of interaction. I know my cat is in safe hands. It's set in lovely grounds too with peacocks and landscaped gardens.
