   The old man who grooms is unnecessarily rude to people who are unfamiliar with the place, strangely more so to women, from that alone you can tell he’s impatient so personally I wouldn’t trust the place with an out of date cucumber never mind a much loved pet. If you’re not able to read imaginary signs or guess telepathically what they don’t like you doing (like just walking), don’t bother going, they’ll just ruin your day. Read the other reviews that also state this, even some of the dogs don’t like him and dogs are hardly ever wrong when it comes to bad tempered old men.

   On the 8th November I wanted to book my dog into Cwm kennels for two nights in mid - November. All ok until the owner asked if I had used them before, when I said no, he said that he couldn't take any new customers as he was innundated with requests at the moment! He was rather abrupt (noted in other reviews) and unless you are a regular customer, you will have to take your dog in for a "trial day" well in advance of your booking "in case we don't get on". Perhaps he was just stressed with all the requests but it seems an odd way to run a business. For obvious reasons, I cannot comment on the quality of care.

   The guy was short tempered & rude to me & my sister, thought ok maybe he prefers dogs to people which is fine by me as was paying for him to treat my dogs well while I was away. After the First night i got a phone call to go pick up my dog (a soppy lab cross that loves everyone that's nice to him) because he hated the guy & they left him without food because he was barking & growling at him. NEVER LEAVING THEM THERE AGAIN as he must have done something to make my dog go nasty, luckily I had friends that he's never met able to pick him up & drop him with my sister. He was great with 2 complete strangers but not the owner of cwm kennels

   I've left many dogs here. The service is excellent. Dogs are walked twice daily and very well cared for. Owner is happy for you to take a look around before the dog stays and they have a generously sized fully enclosed off the lead area where dogs can have a good run around outside of their kennels.
