   My pension provider informed me that I needed to use the services of a Financial Adviser to arrange a drip feed drawdown from my personal pension. I spoke to several local firms but was put off by the high fees quoted. I then spoke to Ian Highton at Essential who, after taking the time to ask what I wanted to achieve, quoted a fee some 50% less than the others. There then followed much due diligence with risk profiles, comparisons and fund recommendations, all done by phone and email. From first contact to receiving the first pension payment took about eight weeks. This chap knows his onions when it comes to pension investment funds and I would thoroughly recommend Ian to anyone needing financial guidance. This happened 12 months ago (apologies for the delay Ian) and since then everything has gone smoothly and the recommended funds have performed well.
