Helen is a great reliable dog walker which has a calming influence on the dogs. Our dog is so excited to see Helen and go for her twice weekly walks.
Helen is the most amazing lady! She is my dogs’ second mum!! They absolutely love her to bits and I am so happy we have found her to take them both out for walkies and socialisation during the days when I’m in work. They love going out with her so much that they have an extra day with her when I’m not even in work! I would happily leave them with her for the whole day and what’s more, they would happily stay with her for the whole day! Helen loves them to bits and all the dogs she walks are treated like her own dogs. Lots of fun and frolics are had and Helen is very sensitive to the different ages and needs of all the dogs. We feel so lucky that we found Helen to walk our crazy cockapoo. Helen treats every dog as if they were her own and she has built an amazing bond with Maggie. Maggie literally leaps into her arms when she comes to collect her which says it all! Helen is a lovely person who is very kind and caring, she is very reliable and goes out of her way to help and accommodate even at short notice. Helen takes the dogs on a variety of routes and is often out for far longer than the hour we pay for. I am 100% confident in her care for Maggie and can’t recommend her highly enough.
My dog Frankie has been having walks with Helen since he was a puppy, and he absolutely loves her. I have always felt Frankie is in good hands, safe and happy with her. I can tell he’s had lots of fun and has no hesitation to run and jump in the back of her car for his walk. It also means he gets to meet his friends to help him socialise with other dogs. I recommend that if you are thinking of getting a dog walker to start when they are young so they build up a bond with the walker and to get them used to being around other dogs. It’s a great way to build their confidence and ensure they don’t have problems when they meet dogs, and Radyr Dog Walking is perfect for doing this. I highly recommend them, Helen is so caring with the dogs, and treats them as her own. Fantastic lady, great walks and happy dog!! What more can you ask for.
I can’t recommend Radyr Dog Walking and Cat Care highly enough. From the first day Helen came round to meet Coco and discuss arrangements you could see her genuine love for animals. Coco loves going out with Helen and his “dog pals” - and we love receiving the photos & videos Helen sends of Coco enjoying himself on the walks. Helen is reliable, professional and extremely caring. Knowing Coco is safe with Helen and having so much fun whilst getting the socialisation and exercise he needs is a great weight off our minds.
Helen has been walking our dog Jynx for nearly a year now, since we moved to Radyr. She is fantastic with the dog and has really brought her out of her shell. We have noticed that since being with Helen that the dog is much more confident and social with other dogs and people. She always gets really excited when Helen arrives and comes home from walks tired and the photos and videos we get always show that she is running around having fun. Helen is always really understanding and accommodating if we have to change days of the week doing more/less. We really can't recommend Helen strongly enough and any future dogs will definitely be going with her too!
I rarely leave reviews on websites but in this case I feel the need to comment on the truly fantastic service provided by Helen. Our much loved cat means a huge amount to us and we now feel so much happier to leave her in Helen's care when we are away from home. It is extremely obvious that Helen must genuinely care about the animals she looks after, and she's always happy to give us regular updates via text and short video clips to reassure us that all is well. It makes being away from home far less stressful for us knowing that Helen is visiting. We also feel that Helen can be trusted implicitly with access to our home when we are absent. If I could award Helen six stars I certainly would, and I would definitely recommend her services without hesitation.
