Definitely in on some sort of scam, my brother met a person in there off Facebook to get a gold chain checked before he bought it, the guy behind the counter disappeared for about 5 mins then came back and said it’s real, so my brother gave him the money got back to get it cleaned and the chain has gone silver, avoid this shop at all cost lost out on 2500

if I could rate 0 stars I would .. they are scammers sent my chain to get fixed to different town they kept saying royal mail striking but it was for more thsn 5 weeks stupid.. they said its fixed it will come back thats crazy at the end of the day they said they cant fix it they will take it back... so it arrived and they kept having excuses to get it fixed doesnt take month... then they refused to refund the item.. just jorrible services no politeness from staff or anything then never even let me know any updated it had to be me ringing them all the time discusting.... Wouldn't recommend!!...
Unnecessary comments by staff about my appearance and how I’m not the person on my valid ID. Didn’t want to even check other cards and/or ID forms where my name is clearly stated, a bunch of lies and assumptions really. Don’t recommend
The two staff ignored me and my son to have their little conversation which must have lasted almost 3/4 minute . So little courtesy or respect towards potential customers. I don't know whether the disrespectful behaviour was because we are asians but when the chubby staff bothered to ask me what I wanted, then he decided WITHOUT acid testing my 22ct gold to call it 18ct gold and gave me a fabled price. I took my gold to Hinds, which is downstairs and I got hella more respectful and attentive service and more for my gold, and would have gotten twice the amount than what Ramsdens had quoted had I taken the Hinds voucher to spend my exchanged gold money in their store. I advise others to take the gold they wish to exchange to Hinds on ground floor Kirkgate and not waste their time or trust on Ramsdens and their rude staff who will pull fast ones if given half the chance .
The young shop assistant was absoloutely lovely and tried very hard to help. Her manager however is a stuck up arrogant b***h who has no customer skills wotsoever. It says on the website they will do anything to try help. THEY DONT!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS
