   Excellent advice and guidance again from Gareth. Having attended a group webinar on mid-career financial planning, this was a timely opportunity to follow up with some queries about my own situation. Although it was only a short meeting (~45 minutes) Gareth was able to address most points about long-term investment, pension and retirement planning and I have also arranged another meeting to talk about setting up LPA. I finally feel that I am getting on top of my finances!

   When seeking financial advice, one needs to know that your advisor is fully on top of the complex rules around tax and pensions, and you need them to be open, honest and transparent. I was lucky enough to receive advice from Gareth at Blackstone Partners last week and from the first few moments, I knew that I was getting advice from someone who had mastered their field. Gareth gave outstanding advice, helping me to explore strategies I wouldn’t have known where to start with, and it was clear throughout the process that he was putting my interests first at every point.    I was quite scared to really look at my finances in detail, which is why I decided to attend a Mid Life Career Planning session that Gareth Chalk ran. What an excellent trainer he was. He walked us through how to assess our finances and what we could consider to strengthen our financial future. Then we had the opportunity to have a complimentary follow up 121 session where we could focus in on different areas that were important to us. What a fantastic offer. Gareth was great at taking me through my finances. I felt really reassured by his expertise and his warm and friendly manner.
