In this unstable world it’s good to know one’s finances are being actively managed too.    Being very inexperienced in financial matters I was apprehensive about dealing with the transfer of my works pension to a private pension. I needn't have worried. Dominic at Jamieson Christie guided me through the process step by step, explaining everything in terms I could understand, and at no time made me feel awkward about asking questions.    I’d done quite a bit of research using the FSA & GOV.UK advice tools when looking for a financial advisor to work with, I decided to make an initial inquiry with Jamieson Christie and was then contacted by Dominic who arranged a telephone call with me to explain in more detail how the process would work. After our first meeting there was lots of information to take away and digest before arranging a formal review which would go into a lot more detail about my financial situation and hopes and aspirations for the future (as you would expect in financial planning) Dominic took time at each stage to check my understanding and ensure that the advice he gave me was based on my personal circumstances & was relevant to my needs & aspirations. I never felt any pressure at any stage, the process was clear and logical, and I was happy to proceed with the recommendations. The whole team at Jamieson Christie were warm and friendly during my 4 visits to their offices and I’d be happy to recommend them to anyone looking for investment / financial planning advice.

   I engaged Jamieson Christie as my Financial Advisor over 15 years ago and throughout that time I have maintained the highest level of confidence in their advice, guidance and management. The information that they provide is first rate and highly professional. Moreover, it is relatively easy to follow (no mean feat given the complexity of some issues) They certainly are responsive, but for me a more important attribute is that they are proactive. Getting ahead of the curve is key to positive financial performance, and I rely upon them to provide insight and early advice on critical issues that require action. Good financial advice is not cheap, but in the final analysis it is good value.
