   I got my tyres changed here on a Saturday a few weeks ago. Whilst the staff were very busy, they were friendly and helpful and replaced my tyres on a timely manner. When I collected my car, as the tyres were a challenge for the technicians to remove, one technician was double checking the new ones were seated correctly before I drove the vehicle away. I really appreciate this attention to detail and care given the tyres are the only thing in contact with the road when driving. I would recommend this garage if you want work done on your vehicle with care

   The chaps in here are quite friendly and are happy to help. For any big jobs, I'd book online first though if you have something smaller that needs sorting - they'll get it done there-and-then if they aren't too busy.

   Purchased 4 tyres and alignment from here june last year as I was preparing for an 8,000 mile road trip 2024 summer. I stressed the importance of having wheels aligned properly and properly balanced as I did not want any issues on this trip. All well and good when communicating, not so much on acting upon my wishes as they made the apprentice do all the work. First off, for the alignment : I had come in twice and left disappointed both times as the wheel was severely crooked when driving straight after they aligned them with the machine. They blamed it on the car not being lowered after installing larger wheels on. Fair enough. Money wasted. Paid £50 to another garage same day and they had no issues sorting the problem to my wishes... with no excuses. Second issue and the most expensive one : the wheel balancing. You'd expect a tyre shop to train their apprentices to do them properly. Halfway through belgium my steering wheel was shaking violently and the front brakes were smoking (without using my brakes at all, simply coasting when needing to brake). My first thought : my callipers are seized. So drove slowly to luxembourg to replace them. Didn't make sense for BOTH callipers to be seized one of them was brand new... nonetheless went over and explained my situation, they turned to me and said the calliper was fine, the wheel balancing was completely off and that caused excessive pad and disc wear, warping the discs. So now I have to get new front brakes... the brakes were 2 weeks old at the time when protyres did this work. It cost me 13 hours of barely making progress on my cross-european trip... so an extra night at a hotel, had to renew austrian and hungarian vignettes again, and about €30 extra in food than expected.. aside from rectifying the issue which shouldn't have been there in the first place. + the new brakes, an extra £150. No fault on the tyre selection and pricing, it was very reasonable and brand new month-old max tyres.

   Called last week due to 3 tyres each losing 3 -5 lbs air during period of a week on Porsche C4s. We were over 200 miles from home and worried about the return journey but Walkers immediately set about making checks and found 2 valves leaking plus a puncture all fixed and on our way within half an hour. They even took time to suggest garages that stock the correct tyres should the need arise on return journey. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff - excellent service all round. Will definitely be a future customer whenever I am in Leicester

   Very Expensive £30 to take out 1 nail out the tyre, they look at the car first before they charge. Also didn't even say how it's going to be until you pay, I'll never go there again
