   JLT has managed my accounts for the past 6 years and I’m really pleased to say that there isn’t a better team in accountancy than Justin Todd and the girls that are always ready to pick up the phone and help with any of your enquiries!    Avoid. Forever can't get through to them or in contact with them. Then the company disappears despite Google saying they are open for business & next thing I get a letter from HMRC saying my return is late & have a £100 penalty. It would have been professional of JLT to inform it's customers it was winding up & new accountants should be sought. Very unprofessional!

   If i could give them no stars i would. I strongly urge all new client`s to stay away from this `accountancy firm`. I have used their services for the last 3 years and during this time they have changed business names twice...why this is relevant will make sense once you read this full review. During the 3 years i have used their services they have never asked me to submit proof of business expenses or even ask me what kind of business expenses i have. They submit my self assessment for me every year and i have never seen any self assessments or signed off on anything. I am now using a new accountancy firm and they have told me it is likely i will owe HMRC money back as they strongly believe JLT have lied and fabricated my self assessments. I actually struggled to find a new accountancy firm that were willing to take me on as a new client once i told them the above info. And would you believe it, JLT have disappeared in the last 8 days...their contact number is no longer is use and both Kelly & Danielle`s email address`s have been closed down. Luckily i hadn`t paid them the £190 fee they requested so i am not out of pocket, but they are clearly taking money from client`s and then disappearing. I`m sure they will be back in a few months time with a shiny new business name again and do the same to new, unsuspecting clients. So to sum up my experience, i think JLT have given my bad advice and executed work on my behalf that will likely result in a HMRC debt/fine, they are currently not contactable at all but still advertising for new business and if you use this firm after reading this review then i`m sorry i couldn`t convince you that this `accountancy firm` will do more harm to you than good. PLEASE STAY AWAY. There is a reason they only have a 1.5 star overall review. If anyone knows how i can take this further and report them/stop them trading please let me know as i don`t want the same thing that has happened to me, happen to someone else.

   Absolutely agree with 99% of people on here , take my advice and steer clear of jlt , bunch of lying scammers , won't answer calls , gas lighting, they tell you they've done stuff when they have clearly done sweet f a, justin Todd told me he was actually on an operating table whilst texting me , because he doesn't want to sort the mess he's left me in , what a shower of a company .

   Beware Beware, Don't use them, they are scammers.. They claim so much money then HMRC ask for all money back and also penalty from HMRC. These guys threaten to send your fees to debt collection agency if you delay in paying for a week only. Justin owner is useless and don't listen and don't sort out either and they never refund the fees if they make a mistake.

   Please do not use this company, I have got 2 penalties for LTD company and one penalty for CIS tax returns. Been in contact with HMRC and now I am going to make a complaint about JLT ACCOUNTANCY and hopefully HMRC will claim late returns from JLT ACCOUNTANCY because off the complaints they have had for this so called accountants PLEASE DON'T GO WITH THIS COMPANY ANDY RAE

   I have thought long and hard about this review and I still cannot find the words strong enough to advise others to avoid this sham company!! Firstly the shambolic service began when Ameer overinflated my tax return which resulted in me getting a bill from HMRC demanding I repay, after numerous months of trying to speak to anyone in the company I am starting to realise I am getting nowhere with such a scam. Justin the owner is uncontactable, constantly avoiding phone calls and emails and no-one else is able to talk when I ask for my money back for the "service" is received. £700 for an accounting company to fraudulently inflate a tax return and then leave you with the fall out. PLEASE PLEASE look at this review for this company and the countless others and do not use JLT, I am still dealing with Financial ombudsman to see my options but please save your money and look elsewhere.
