Lovely relaxing weekend away in Iken, Suffolk. The Cartlodge was well equipped, clean and very quiet. Lovely views. Did bang our heads a few times on the sloping ceilings!!
Clear simple process and Suffolk Hideaways has to be applauded as the only site which prompted me with a small 'late availability' selection later after I'd given up. Hope the break away is as good!

The present Lockdown started 2 days into a 4 day break with Suffolk Hideaways. We opted to cancel and found the whole experience of cancellation sympathetic and trouble free. The full rental fee was promptly returned to my account. Just as a PS, they made us feel very valued customers throughout the booking period, providing careful info and quick responses to any query. I will not hesitate to book with them again: they could give lessons in customer service to many larger big profile companies.
We booked a cottage for May 2020. Due to COVID 19 we could not travel. Suffolk Hideaways would not let us move the booking to 2021 or give us our deposit back. Really bad service. Please read there terms and conditions with care! We managed to get our deposit back with our credit card.
