Really nice for a walk around. Parking prices have increased. Don't go in the cafe it's awful!!!! Little to choose from, no cakes when we called in. Tables piled high with dirty plates and cups with 4 members of staff standing behind the counter having a chat. Will not return. Take a flask and some goodies to enjoy on a bench by the water.

Plenty of space for your car, not much shade from tree's in summer, can get really busy. Currently Β£3.50 for 2hrs stay the first 15 minutes is free. Pay after your stay at the machines by the cafe either by card or cash, remember your reg number.

Lake looked lovely. Car park roomy and easy to pay. Loved the children play area and picnic area. However, we have a dog who goes everywhere with us. The Hensborough trail takes 15 minutes tops to walk and no chance to walk around the reservoir which was a shame for the children ( can’t take dog). I have seen reviews that love no dogs which is a shame. Well controlled dogs on leads with responsible owners who pick up poo cannot enjoy the facilities fully. Definitely will not return.

This park offers a beautiful escape with stunning scenery. The walking trails are well-maintained and perfect for a leisurely stroll. There are many opportunities for watersports and other activities. It's a great place to bring family and friends for a day out. The facilities are clean and well-kept, making for a pleasant experience.

A regular walk circuit....about 5 miles around the reservoir. Lots of bird life to watch, coots, ducks, geese, cormorants, grebes, an egret I think? Bird hide on the way round. Cafe at visitor centre fine. Often quite busy.

Would like an option to park for 3 hrs as 2 not quite long enough and don't wish to pay Β£5 for all day . The walk round is lovely though

Fantastic setting, family friendly, large car park Β£3 for 2 hours or Β£5 all day, great paved walk around the reservoir, toilet block, catering, cycle friendly, picnic tables a great way to spend leisure time with family or to run/ cycle/ walk for fitness.

A good place to walk around on a tarmacked path but can get very busy, lots of people walking, running or cycling around. Dogs are NOT allowed around the reservoir. Β£5 parking for the day which you will need as unless you walk fast you will need longer than the couple of hours cheaper parking! Sailing out on the lake to watch and lots of water birds to be seen. Toft Alpacacas can be seen from the far side. Remember to use facilities before you set out as there are none around the reservoir.

A beautiful ace but not well maintained. Lots of room to make it so much better. Went with family but really struggled to spend more time. Fed the ducks. It does have a stink...
