Absolutely rip off! No phone number to contact them. I have no membership yet been charged £5 monthly for 4 months! Avoid by all means!
I booked a day trip through this site for me, my sister and our children. 5 of us in total almost £100 for the day out the the national forest adventure farm for the summer event. I noticed i had booked the wrong dates, I contacted DOWTK as it says any issues with tickets to contact them. I did not ask for a refund, I asked to change the dates. The response I got from them was "hi, I'm really sorry, but tickets cannot be amended and are non-refundable. This is a stipulation from the attraction and not something which is within our control. No matter what the extenuating circumstances. Kind Regards DOWTK Team" This caused me a lot of stress due to the amount of money spent to book the day. My sister then contacted the farm directly, she did not need to hold they answered straight away, and swapped the dates straight away. Within 3 minutes everything was swapped and updated tickets received. My sister mentioned to them that we had originally contacted DOWTK site and read the email response to the farm representative, she was shocked and said this is not correct information. And they are always happy to accommodate changes as long as the availability is there. I will NEVER use Days Out With The Kids to book anything again. Please be aware
I have tried to contact you many times but you do not have direct phone numbers, please provide additional information about my reservation and I have provided it to you and I have not received any further response to my request for a refund. In my opinion, you are not a correct company, you provide one piece of information on the website and then when I pay, other information appears...
It's a ripoff. I had booked stadium tour which due to health issues, I could not attend. I also called up the actual travel and tours company that provided vouchers well in advance and they confirmed cancellation with refund. However, it seems Day Out Either The Kids refused to refund. Will never use them and won't recommend it.
Saw a deal on 02 priority where you pay £5 for a 6 month membership. Before signing up I had a look to check if there were things we would actually do on there local to us, quite a lot of things came up which we already do so thought it would save us money in the school holidays etc. Signed up for the £5 and now when I try to search for the deals on the website, there's hardly anything local to us. It's like they make it look better then it is to get you to sign up but once your a member half the deals disappear
Cancelled my membership via the website- obviously didn’t work for whatever reason! I paid £9.99 for last year and now been charged £29.99 for another year! I don’t use the website for deals/codes and now can’t get a refund!
Great to save money for family days out. Love you can have a trial to start with to see if it's for you.
I have had offers many times over last 10 years and have really made a difference even if not every day or weekend or sometimes over school holidays especially when they charge so much at certain places depending on how many members of family there is it still makes a difference if choosing to use as often as you can if you know going to use offers there
Dodgy company. I tried the £1 for 30 days and couldn't find any deals local enough to me to make any kind of saving. After that should have been £3.99 a month recurring membership. I was charged £34.99 randomly and so I quickly cancelled my membership. I sent emails and read their policies- nowhere does it state that a lump sum would be taken. The emails were generic in their response format and didn't get me anywhere so I've taken it up with my bank instead.
