   Poor service. Been in twice to collect my husbands jeans. Should have been ready last Saturday. Went in on Monday to pick them up - they apologised , but not ready. Went back today Wednesday - still not started!

   This place is amazing. The lady who owner is a legend. Over the last couple of years I have taken several items here for repair, mostly because I have two young dogs who as puppies liked to destroy things. For example, my sofa. The corner of a base cushion was torn to shreds. It's a navy blue velvet material and was totally ruined. Luckily it came with matching cushions so I took the torn cover and one of the cushions to sacrifice for the repair, honestly not expecting miracles but trying to avoid buying a new one. I was absolutley amazed at the results, genuinly incredible. The cost was £25!! On another occasion, my dog chewed the zip on my £300 stone island hoodie, the legend replaced the full length zip for £15. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. This lady is highly skilled, skills that are being lost with every generation and are increasingly hard to find. Support local businesses and support skilled professionals. 5 star plus no question

   AVOID. I've been using oh sew clean for over 10 years and it's gone drastically down hill. I recently took two brand new organic cotton school fleeces in for elastic to be removed and sleeves tapered. The stitching looked like my 5 year old had done it himself so the owner agreed to put it right. Upon collecting for the second time a lady was covering whilst owner was on holiday and the sleeves looked worse. This lady does not sew and had no autonomy to resolve she became defensive and snappy ajd had the audacity to call me patronising because I was asking questions to understand what autonomy she had. I returned a 3rd time and the business owner had a few customers in the shop and when it came to my turn to be served she literally grabbed the items was trying to rush me out of the shop without a conversation. I was reluctant to leave the items because I no longer trust the workmanship. I said I'd wait and I did because clearly she didn't want other customers to hear my feedback. So I waited patiently and also didn't want to create a scene for her, she did very well in that herself because when I was served again she said I was rude to her staff and wouldn't serve me again! At this point I'm thinking wow, you haven't heard my side, you're customer service is utterly appalling to even broach that in such an abrupt and rude manner and quite frankly I don't ever want to return to a business that's going down hill. The reviews on this business against others businesses providing the same service are poor. And even some the responses given to previous reviews quite frankly are not professional. This review is honestly snippets of what's actually happened. On collecting a third time stitch is still not straight.. AWFUL SERVICE AWFUL WORKMANSHIP AWFUL BUSINESS Bit of advice contact the customer, seek feedback and then investigate your issues are in-house. And the customer is always right! Shall not be returning and neither will my friends and family

   I took my dress to be tightened and it was done quickly and professionally. It was even steamed for me which was very thoughtful. I returned for dry cleaning a week later with a very stubborn stain and it came out beautifully! Thank you, I'll definitely continue to use your business.

   We had an emergency zip mal function and was attending a Wedding. We had driven from London and needed help urgently. Thank goodness for Janine, she was super efficient, calm reassuring and fitted a new zip on the spot. Reasonable price and saved the day! Thank you Janine you are amazing.
