The self checkout is a mess. The blonde guy there was really rude to me and my gf over paying for the bag last. We told him we are going to add the bag after we scan rest of the things but he said no thats not how it works. Keeps coming in between us. Also he was really rude to one of his female colleague saying she is doing nothing. This is not what I expect, I felt like I was robbing instead of buying when Iβm ready to pay for it. Need to put him on some stress management workshop.

Concerns Regarding Racial Disparity in Customer Service at Primark I shop at Primark occasionally and am aware that the quality of some items can be inconsistent, particularly after washing. For this reason, I always try to keep my receipts. On one occasion, I attempted to exchange an unworn item for a larger size. I had purchased the item only two days earlier but was unable to locate the receipt. I explained to the manager that I knew the exact amount paid and asked whether the receipt could be searched using my card details. I was told this was not possible and the exchange was refused. Yesterday 18th December , during a very busy day in the store, I witnessed a WHITE customer attempting to return an item without a receipt. To my surprise, manager, Joe, willingly searched for her receipt using her card details and processed the return without hesitation. This directly contradicted what I had previously been told and raised serious concerns about inconsistent treatment and potential racial bias. My own experience later that day further reinforced these concerns. I had purchased a Minecraft full zip-up coverall for my six-year-old son in size 7β8. Due to incorrect hangers, which is common in-store, I spent a considerable amount of time selecting the correct size. My son tried the item on before I removed the tags and washed it. After washing, the garment had clearly shrunk and no longer fit. I returned to the store with the item, my receipt, and a new, unworn size 7β8 coverall to demonstrate the size difference. I also purchased a size 8β9 replacement to allow for potential shrinkage. At the till, the assistant identified a barcode discrepancy between the returned item and the receipt. As the item had been washed, the tags had been discarded. Manager Joe was called over and stated that I was attempting to return the incorrect item, suggesting the barcode related to a larger size. I calmly explained the situation and the shrinkage issue. Despite this, he implied that I was being dishonest and stated that he would βallowβ the exchange on this occasion, while warning that I would not be able to return the larger size later using the same receipt. This interaction was deeply upsetting. The implication that I was attempting to commit fraud was unjustified and felt like profiling rather than a fair assessment of the situation. While I understand store policies, there was a clear lack of empathy and professionalism, especially when contrasted with the assistance offered to another WHITE customer without a receipt. I find this behaviour unacceptable and discriminatory. Should I ever misplace a receipt again, I will expect the same level of service and consideration that was extended to the other WHITE customer. Primark must address inconsistencies in customer service and ensure all customers are treated with fairness, respect, and dignity. Disgusting behaviour!

Samju is lovely. She was patient at the till when I went to get a different size fleece jacket. I felt bad for it and so rushed to put what I'd paid for in my bag but she stopped me and did it for me.

Primark in Leicester is a go-to destination for fashion and homeware at exceptionally low prices, making it ideal for anyone shopping on a budget. The store spans three floors and offers a wide selection of clothing for men, women, and children, as well as accessories and home goods. Primarkβs business model focuses on cost leadership and an efficient supply chain, allowing it to consistently deliver the latest trends at prices that are hard to beat customers frequently mention picking up quality basics like sweatshirts for as little as Β£10 for two. While the store can get busy and sometimes messy, its unbeatable value and broad range ensure it remains popular with students, families, and bargain hunters alike

Quality of clothes is really poor, shop floor is always full of clothes. If you want budget outfit better shop through internet. You might get better quality clothes at similar pricing

Quite frankly the worst store I've visited. Messy, cluttered and the new layout just doesn't make sense. I appreciate it was busy but there was very little effort being made to keep the store looking even half respectable.

Main Points - Very tight spaces, aisles not far enough apart especially when busy, it can be very claustrophobic. - Never seem to have sizes you need. - No product organisation, different categories are seemingly placed all over. - Cheap and cheerful as always, lots of products for a great price.
