We used 'The Flower Plant' for our wedding flowers, Meg from the very beginning was great - very adaptable and really listened to what we wanted throughout, nothing was too much trouble. We had a floral cloud which needed to be set up the day of the wedding. The team arrived the morning of the wedding, they ran into a bit of a problem due to the fixing left by the marquee company but were so reassuring and made me feel relaxed on the day and even helped to move some of our tables back into place! The floral cloud itself was truly magical, it had the real wow factor and completely made the marquee. My bouquet was stunning and I have sent it off to be persevered so I can keep them forever. We would definitely recommend 'The Flower Plant' for not only the beautiful flowers but for the lovely people that work there too!
We were absolutely blown away by The Flower Plant’s work for our civil ceremony. From the bouquets to the buttonholes and the breathtaking ceremony backdrop, every single arrangement was created with such care, beauty, and originality. They were incredibly accommodating, even when we had a last-minute venue change that meant needing a whole new ceremony setup. They took it in their stride, and the floral backdrop they designed was beyond anything we could have imagined. I've been a customer of The Flower Plant for many years, and have attended various workshops during that time. When they announced that they were going to start a Flower School I knew I wanted to be on the first course! The 6-week Fundamentals of Floristry course exceeded all my expectations. Kat and Meg were so generous with their time and advice, and provided wonderful support to each of us as were worked through a comprehensive floristry programme. We were introduced to the principles of design, sourcing and conditioning flowers, and sustainability within the industry. Each week we had a mix of demonstrations and practical sessions including how to wire, tape, and pimp flowers before creating hand-tied bouquets, table decorations, vases, garlands, and wedding flowers. To top off all of that, the last couple of weeks involved working together on installations at both the shop and a wedding venue - real showstoppers! I can't begin to commute how much I learnt, and how my confidence has grown as a result of the course - all helped by working with the very best products! The Flower Plant is a special place and I feel very fortunate to have had Kat and Meg motivating and cheering me along on my floristry journey. If you have the chance I'd encourage you to sign up for the next course - you won't regret it!
I attended the 6 week Flower School at the Flower Plant. It has been an amazing time spent with some lovely people, Each week we covered different subjects all enjoyable and interesting. The quality of flowers were outstanding and the help and guidance from the team was invaluable. They were really encouraging and always happy to help. Each week I didn’t want to class to end. Tuesdays certainly won’t be the same now we’ve completed the Course. If you are thinking of doing this course, do it. You certainly won’t be disappointed. I’d do it again in a heart beat.
The Flower Plant did the flowers for our wedding day in June last year. This was the second wedding celebration with their flowers (after our tiny COVID ceremony in 2021) and so I feel I can definitely say they are the best in the business. We cannot recommend them enough! If you want to have a bit of fun with your wedding flowers you have to hire them! Kat understood our requirements perfectly and they 1000% delivered. The bouquets, buttonholes and milk churns were absolutely gorgeous. We also really loved all the fun touches (my bouquet included little pink pineapples!) and colour. We can honestly say the flowers were one of the highlights of each of our wedding celebrations! We had so many compliments from our guests. Kat and her team are so friendly and an absolute joy to work with. We cannot thank you all enough for everything you did!

The flower plant did the flowers for our wedding in August 2022 and they were superb! The team created amazing bouquets for myself and the bridesmaids and made the most incredible flower ladders that they installed at the venue (suspended from beams in the ceiling). All the guests commented on how stunning the flowers ladders were - they really added atmosphere to the venue and were such a talking point. Kathryn and team were so easy to work with - would highly recommend.
