Worst shop in newport... Que is always stupidly long and never any tills open. Walk in for a drink and you are in there for half hour. Joke of a store that should close down. Clearly incapable.
Tried ringing at least 10 times regarding mistaken delivery no answer rang customer services they said 24 to 48 hours to resolve the issue. in the meantime I'm stuck with someone else's shopping which is all frozen by the way. customer services said an email has been sent to newport well if they cant answer the phone how are they going to be bothered with an email...sort it out iceland
Absolutely disgusted how I was treated in self service, just because I used the bags to pack my items and then clicked how many bags at the end, if you ain't allowed to do it like that they wouldn't give you the option. Then for the lady to stand over my shoulder the whole time watching me and even re-print the receipt to check. My life isn't that shallow I'm going to steal carrier bags! Disgusting!
The staff at the self service checkout are so helpful especially Sana who helped me last Saturday and today. She is such an impressive young lady. Thank you Sana.

I usually do my Iceland shopping online but because I was in town did my shopping and opted for delivery. Putting groceries away at home and I was met with a wet carrier bag from a Carling multi pack - I cut the packing open carefully to see what was leaking only to be met with the cans & packing moldy. Phoned the store straight away & was told to ring back the following morning to have a replacement sent out. Rang next day and was asked how many cans were leaking (I hadn't bothered to check after seeing the mold - just bagged & put outside) before being told to call into the store for a replacement. I said that I could not do that today so someone did finally bring a replacement. I thought that the whole nightmare was over when I decided to cook tea (using chicken thighs also purchased from the same store at the same time . As soon as I opened the packing the smell of rotten meat filled the kitchen ,parts were dry on the edges, grey in others and they were sticky to the touch . I purchased on the 18/01/20 with a use by day of 21/01/20 - surely if the store had kept it at the correct temperature I should have been able to use it the day after purchasing
