   I don’t like leaving negative reviews but this needs to be shared having had by far the worst tattoo experience of my life. The person doing my tattoo (turns out to be the owner) was particularly unpleasant. She got stroppy when I asked for the artwork to be repositioned a 3rd time - bearing in mind that a) the location is essential b) it’ll be on me for life and c) Im paying for the time… why was this such a problem?! Despite me being pleasant and upbeat towards her, she was subtly rude to me in return. She was then unbelievably rude about a potential customer who visited the shop while I was there. The guy came to enquire about a tattoo and I was shocked by the things she was saying about him once he’d gone. Really, it was disgraceful. All this would be bad enough, but the absolute disaster is that she did not do the tattoo as I had asked. We discussed various colours of ink to be used and I specifically requested ‘NO BLACK’. As the tattoo was out of sight it wasn’t until it was finished that it became apparent she had done the whole thing in black. Words don’t do justice to how awful that was. I chose October Rose because it had consistent 5 star reviews, so I was SHOCKED by the service and results I received. The other staff on the studio seemed like good people but the owner doing the inking is not a pleasant person. There is a lot more I could write about my experience but to sum it up - I would not go anywhere near this place and urge others to look elsewhere if they want a considerate service, attention to detail with results they rightly expect. I hope this might be a wake up call for the owner that simple arrogance will not ensure a consistent 5 star repertoire. Ive basically been scarred for life, hopefully sharing my experience will help others avoid going through something similar.

   (Sorry! Copied to Wheelers page :)) Amazing place, and the best piercer I have ever met. Really lovely attitude, so well informed and understanding of some specific health stuff! Explained everything and made me feel very comfortable (not an easy feat as I'm a nervous type!). Love my helix piercing and had the best experience getting it - I was so anxious but he put me at ease and amazingly it didn't hurt at all! Great after care explanation as well :) thank you so much.

   Lgbt+ friendly, lovely staff, high quality piercing, tooth gems & tattoos and excellent levels of hygiene ♥ Been a customer for over 5 years now (20+ tattoos, 1 tooth gem and 5 piercings) and enjoy coming back again and again. Incredibly welcoming atmosphere and owners who truly care about each of their customers. Thea is a very talented artist who will make sure you leave with something you'll treasure.

   She goooood, sooooo good!!! I love my new arm piece, my beautiful boy Floyd (chocolate Labrador in a steampunk outfit, just looks AMAZING) cannot stop looking at him, making me laugh and cry altogether. Thea is beyond amazing, I love this piece and can't wait to have my other two dogs worked alongside him xxxx (Sorry, just read this review and it's posting it under my husband's name for some reason!! I am not good with technology.....)

   I came here for the first time to get my daughters helix pierced. Wheeler made us all feel very comfortable, he explained the procedure and the aftercare very well.    Today I took my daughter for a piercing, from start from finish the experience was positive and I would highly recommend. The people were caring and professional and very knowledgeable. The online booking system is great and communication over messenger was fast and efficient. The premises is very clean and inviting and welcoming. The aftercare was amazing.
