I am an expat who has been living in New Zealand for the past 14 years, and I am now reaching the age where I can begin drawing down my UK pension. As part of this process, NZ Funds referred me to bdhS, where Paul became my financial planner. Paul and I had two video calls—the first to understand my background and goals, and the second to discuss his detailed report. Thanks to these conversations, I felt fully informed and confident in making my decision about how to proceed. Paul was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging throughout. I would not hesitate to seek his advice again in the future and would highly recommend him to anyone needing guidance with their pension.

My wife and I have dual UK/Australian citizenship. We live in the UK and our superannuation funds are in Australia. We are coming up to retirement and needed advice as we haven't yet decided where we will eventually live. Paul Davies was our adviser, ably supported by the excellent Louise Duncan, a paraplanner. We had some long conversations about various scenarios and the pros and cons of different strategies. The process was very informative, and we both felt that we were being listened to and our situation was being carefully analysed. The outcome was a detailed plan that included 2 main scenarios, one UK-based, the other Australia-based. The plan showed us that we could live comfortably in either country, which means our decision on that is not going to be forced by a financial consideration. So now we are looking forward to our retirement with confidence and peace of mind, knowing we have the wherewithal to make choices based on lifestyle and family considerations. I would highly recommend BDH Sterling to anyone looking for confidence and peace of mind in their future (and aren't we all?). Thank you so much, Paul and Louise.

Excellent advice. I spoke to adviser Paul Lawson-Tyers about moving a defined benefits pension scheme from the UK to New Zealand, and he was thorough, straight-up and very knowledgeable. He scheduled a video call at a time that suited us both, and explained the more complex issues to consider in layman's terms. He followed that up with a comprehensive report in a timely fashion, and I would recommend him to anyone.

I have used bdhSterling for pensions advice through the early stages of my retirement. It was recommended to me by my previous pensions advisor when he ceased providing this service. It has given me several useful tips as well as managing my pension funds up to the point when I started to draw a regular pension from them. I would recommend bdhSterling for helpful friendly advice.

While transferring my pension to NZ I engaged the services of bdhSterling to advise on the UK part of the process. My advisor, Paul Lawson-Tyers, was not only professional, informative and thorough, but he also made sure my questions were answered in a way that I could understand fully. The time difference needed to be taken into consideration but after some late night / early morning meetings I came away feeling much more relaxed with this daunting process. Can't recommend Paul Lawson-Tyres and the whole bdhSterling team enough.

I dealt with Paul Lawson Tyers for the transfer of my UK pension to NZ. I found Paul and the bdhSterling team to be very professional, helpful and supportive throughout the process. There is a lot to consider when transferring a pension and I felt that Paul gave me as much of his time as I needed in order to ensure I considered and understood all the issues relating to this transfer. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Paul and bdh Sterling to anyone considering whether to transfer a pension

bdhSterling has provided me with transfer advice for my pension from the UK to Norway. I am so impressed and pleased with the level of competence and customer care that I have now decided to use bdhSterling again for my other pension. Paul Lawson-Tyers, my main contact at bdhSterling, has been nothing short of phenomenal - he helped me through the whole process with plenty of dedication and patience.
