Archers & especially Fanoulla have been absolutely fantastic, professional and knowledgeable. We sought advice related to our mortgage, and Fanoulla made sure that we were being provided with accessibility from the start as we are deaf and British Sign Language (BSL) users. Archers & especially Fanoulla have been excellent throughout our mortgage advice. Coming from a predominantly deaf family as the hearing child, it can be very difficult & frustrating trying to communicate effectively with any professional service team. This is because the burden is placed on you to be the translator, but when it comes to financial details & technical terms, it can be a confusing & frustrating experience. However Fanoulla made us feel at home & comfortable with her fluency in BSL. Her skill in effectively flowing between Spoken English & BSL and being able to clearly translate technical details to my family meant that a large burden had been taken off me and that the whole process was as smooth and effortless as possible. The advice itself was great - the process was made easy for us to understand & Fanoulla explained every detail that was necessary for us, including any silly questions we may have had. I would recommend anyone to Archers for their mortgage advice - but especially any deaf/hard of hearing people, i will always advise to go to Archers, due to their commitment in including & communicating effectively to all types of people, including the deaf community.
