   I must say that dealing with Grove was a pleasure. I was looking into transferring 2 DB pensions and the process to the abridged stage was exceptionally good. Gina kept me up to speed with where the process was at and whilst i decided to keep my DB pensions for a little while longer and not transfer I would wholly recommend using Grove and will use them when I decide to transfer.

   I contacted Grove Pension Solutions a year ago, as I had not taken a company defined benefit pension when I turned 60 (now 64) and I wanted advice on a defined benefit transfer, taking the cash value and giving up my monthly pension guarantee. Initial conversations with Owen Seddon and Liz Hogg, a fact finding mission from them, to understand why I wanted to do this. They put together a report and I had a conversion with Kevin Gallafent, who gave me a lot of information that really helped me to make my final decision on how to proceed. They all listened to me, then gave me really relevant professional advice, and left me to think about this and make a decision. I cannot recommend Grove Pensions enough, for their expert knowledge and advice on these matters.

   I heard Grove Pension Services (GPS) were good & I didn't realise they would be a perfect fit for my Financial Service. They informed me of the process & true to their word. I had a named advisor throughout whom firmly held my hand to guide me through. My advisor, like clockwork contacted me every 2 weeks & replied to every email within a short time. I cannot speak highly enough of their service as they are brilliant. I have several different members of staff for different parts of the process & they were all lovely, just like my advisor. They were very polite and professional from start to finish explaining everything in away I could understand.    Initially things seemed positive with Grove and communication was good. Unfortunately this did not last long. I was doing a pension transfer with them, as it turned out a huge, stressful, costly mistake. They took months longer than originally suggested which ended up costing me many thousands of pounds in lost valuation of transfer fund. Communication was very poor and most milestone targets missed. They also made various mistakes in the process but never admitted liability, instead choosing to take even longer with ‘reviews’ of what seemed like their own reviews. I could under no circumstances recommend this company.
