   Chris Lawton at Lawton Financial Services is an absolute life saver. When faced with an incredibly stressful mortgage situation, Chris Lawton and his team were an absolute godsend. My mortgage provider was being exceptionally unhelpful, and the prospect of navigating a mortgage term extension felt terrifying. That's when Chris stepped in and completely turned things around. Chris secured a crucial mortgage term extension for me, along with a fantastic new rate, effectively saving my home. His approach and that of his team were exceptional. They were consistently kind, very responsive, and a genuine pleasure to deal with, during what was a highly anxious and stressful time. What truly set Chris apart was his willingness to take the burden off my shoulders. He ensured I didn't have to navigate the numerous frustrating calls with the mortgage provider alone, doing his utmost to make those interactions as stress-free as possible. His depth of knowledge is truly exceptional; he made me feel comfortable asking any question, no matter how small, and always provided clear, comprehensive answers. Chris not only pushed tirelessly for a quick resolution to my mortgage problems, but also consistently demonstrated that he had my best interests at heart. He always had a backup plan in place and focused on a long-term financial solution. I cannot recommend Chris Lawton and his team highly enough – he is a dedicated, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring financial advisor.

   We’ve always used a family friend for our mortgages - he's a bit old school and very detail-oriented! But when we had to remortgage in summer 2024 with a steep 6.19% interest-only deal, we knew we needed a better option. Amanda and Rosie helped us switch to Barclays, and now we’re paying less, reducing our capital, and even have extra funds for debt repayments - even with paying the exit fee for our previous lender. Amanda is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. She made the whole process smooth and stress-free, and thanks to her, we’ve saved thousands! I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

   Chris and his team have been fantastic in helping me to secure a mortgage as well as related insurance products. I was relatively naive entering the process, but an incredible amount of time and effort has been put into ensuring that my needs are understood and therefore met. No question has been 'too silly' and all have been answered, whenever and however they have arisen. With the hours I work, managing my move and mortgage has been difficult, but Chris and his team have worked around me. I have felt like my custom is genuinely valued, in so far as I have felt like a customer, it is more like we are partners working together to achieve a shared goal. I would recommend Lawton Financial Services without hesitation to all.

   Where to start… I reached out to Liam at Lawton in desperation, and it was the best decision I made. My original financial advisor was slow, unwilling and clearly lacked the skills needed to progress my mortgage application - it was appalling. When I sent an enquiry to Liam, he called me back almost immediately. I explained I had been waiting 2 weeks for my advisor to review my documents and apply for my mortgage. Liam assured me he could get it done within 48 hours, but in fact he managed to submit it the same day!! I then had my offer within two weeks. He kept me informed on every step of the application so I knew where we were - he was fantastic. As I had a related sale, the solicitor I had was not progressing the sale. They were ignoring me, causing many problems, and risking my purchase. This went on for many months. Given, Liams job was only to get me my mortgage, he went above and beyond and worked effortlessly chasing my solicitor to get my sale moving. He called me a couple of times a week to check where I was, if I needed any help - his service was exemplary. In January, 4 months into my sale, my solicitors were completely ignoring us. Liam took it upon himself to reach out to a number of solicitors to explain my situation and what was happening, and to see if anyone could turn my case around and get the sale moving. He did exactly what he said, he found me a firm who managed to take over my sale and get me through to completion within 3 weeks!! If it was not for Liam, and his hard work and dedication to me as a clients, I would not have moved into my home - or completed on my sale in time for the stamp duty or Help to Buy window closing. Liam is a paragon of elite financial service advisors, customer service - and commitment. I am most certainly a life-long patron of his now. He has certainly shown he is adept and erudite within the industry, and has perfect diplomacy. My review could continue, the gent deserves adulation.

   My first time buying experience couldn’t have been better from a mortgage advisor point of view. Amy from Lawton is a thorough professional and very very accommodating with the day to day challenges one might face. I personally have relied upon Amy’s consultation with matters pertaining to the sale and she’s always been a phone call away. She has guided me throughout the process which was an uphill battle at times. Finally, I must add what a pleasure it has been just generally to work with Lawton! Highly recommended.
