I contacted Samir just 2 weeks before the UK tax deadline, panicked about getting help in time (I'm a US citizen with a number of different investment assets across the US & UK, and as a result my UK taxes are fairly complex). He was absolutely incredible--jumping on the phone several times to explain complex issues to me, and very responsive over email. His team also has a great system where you can easily upload files. Once the taxes were complete (somehow, with plenty of time before the deadline!) I had a few questions, which he quickly addressed. I am very happy with the accountancy services Samir and his team at Capitax Financial have provided to my IT limited company. I found Capitax to be an excellent good value accountancy company with a proessional friendly team who are very knowledgable and efficient. All my queries always get answered swiftly by the team via a call or email and whenever I needed to I was always able to contact Samir directly for advice, which wasn't the case with my previous accountancy firm! Anything that wasn't clear to me or I didn't understand either Samir or one of his team were happy to take time to explain and go through with me which I appreciated very much. When I was in the process of buying a new house and needed the process to be completed quickly but the process was delayed because the broker and the bank needed documents which I didn't have and information to be varified which I couldn't do so I contacted Samir for help and he worked with the bank and broker promptly to provide the information they required to move the process on which was above and beyond his statement of work for my limited company which I was very greatful. Capitax handle my book keeping, VAT return, run payroll, self assessment, produce year end account...basically everything to do with the day-to-day running of my limted company. All my business bank account transactions are synchronised to the FreeAgent software for me to categorised and approved before any VAT Return is submitted and payroll slips, self assessment forms and year end account documents are produced and uploaded by Capitax to an online portal for me to review and digitally sign for, I really like the way this work giving me complete control of my limited company the whole operation/process is very smooth and efficient. I have used Capitax Financial since early 2018 after an IT contractor colleague recommendation, the difference in service quality and level between my prevous accountancy firm, whom I was with for 7 years, and Capitax is massive even though the size of their team are the same. My one regret is that I should have made the switch much earlier because I would have saved money, be in control of running my limited company and received a better quality of service.
