I had a mixed experience with Humboldt Financial. They processed my insurance quickly but didn’t request a GP report like my Vitality advisor did. Because of this, I discovered missing medical information and acted as a whistleblower to raise these concerns. This led to my critical illness cover being cancelled, and now my life cover is being adjusted due to the missing details. I understand insurance can be complicated, but I wish Humboldt had been more thorough upfront to help avoid these issues. Just a heads-up to others to double-check everything carefully.
I got put in contact with Humboldt via Unbiased as I wanted pension consolidation advice. They ask you a series of questions to get a picture of what you want and your finances and then do a lot of analysis before presenting back to you. I was very impressed by the presentation showing the performance of my pensions versus what I could be getting and was also impressed by the level of knowledge and ability to make complex processes very simple. Aimee has been first class with me from start to where we are now as I move my pensions to a consolidated pot and looking forward to what the future brings with some great financial advice.
