   Avoid this company, I have been their customer for over 20 years and I was satisfied with their services until new owner took over Ashburn Accountants, He is negligent and very rude, only focused on charging clients not providing professional advise. I requested breakdown of fees for their services and I received completely proportionally different charges from when I was paying for completed services, prior to monthly contribution was introduced. Please be careful if you pay monthly as it is advance payments and Ashburn treats it as day to day company running. DRS Accountant file corporation tax and self assessment at last minute despite they charged last tax year and it supposed to cover for this service, also VAT return period they change for the same reason.

   We had a poor experience dealing with them. They didn't contact us several times when we were told we would be contacted. They charged £150 for a 30 min chat for some quite basic advice, and some of the advice raised concerns. And they didn't do what they said they'd do following the meeting. We subsequently got better advice from a different accountant for free! Basically a waste of time and money going to them. If we could give zero stars we would. We wouldn't recommend them at all.

   I have been using Ashburns Accountants to do my taxes for the past 2 years and I cannot express my gratitude at the team for doing an amazing job. I used to get my taxes done with a Big 4 accounting firm and all I can say is when I switched to Ashburns I have never looked back. They provide a great service, are value for money and effectively manage my tax returns.

They are enormously helpful, very professional, good value for money and promptly available to answer my questions and put my mind at ease. I cannot recommend this firm enough.

   I have used Ashburns for a number of years now, to handle my affairs in the UK as I work internationally. I can not thank them enough for their professionalism and can-do, helpful attitude. There are only small administrative things I need to worry about since I am dealing with them, and as mentioned in a previous comment, you get very good value for your money.

   I think you would need to be mad to use them as your accountants. I have used the firm on one occasional basis and regretted ever since. From small mistakes to big issues, they will not make your life easier. They don’t master accounts or companies house process. To be fair, I am even shocked that they can count for accountants. So first be really careful using them as they have been fined over carelessness. So except if you are desperate and have money to waste, run as fast as you can.
